Would I spend gold on it? ABSOLUTELY!!!
But, it would be the same limit I have for every other purchase: 100k. And that limit is for items that YOU CAN’T GET ANYMORE. I see no reason to go higher for an item I can still farm (even if it is stupidly rare).
And I may have lost a lot of auctions over the years, but patience has prevailed. I’ve never paid more than 100k for anything, and I have just about everything the BMAH has to offer. All the TCG pets, toys, unique tabards… all of it. I got original shoulders and belt from Naxx1.0, but I completed the rest of my T3 earlier this year, and got most of those for list price (10k).
The trick to the BMAH- you just have to be patient. There are some whales that will spend gold-cap on certain items… let them win. Because after the 1-2 whales, there is no one. You can bid in peace at normal prices.
But Tusks… might take awhile.

In all the years since they’ve been in the game, I’ve seen exactly TWO people wearing Tusks. They’re beyond stupidly rare.
So that would make you copycat #4 (because as soon as I get them, you can be DAMN sure I’d be #3 proudly wearing them).
I wouldn’t wear anything that had ever been worn by that warmongering brute…so, no.

I would LOVE to see someone paying for the Tusks for a ridiculous price and actually winning them just to have the Tusks drop on the next SoO run
Nope since my characters all wear mail seeing they are all hunters.
I have 2 pairs in my hunters bank I would sell you if they were not soulbound.

No thanks to the Tusks, not for any of my four warriors. Way too thematic for orcs to really fit anything else imo.
