So who else is putting in Vacation time when classic releases?

Who is not doing that? People who foolishly used all their vacation time already, that’s who.

Happy coincidence that I have 8 weeks, but it starts in June, so if they faff around with the release date, I might miss most of it :sleepy:

I have two weeks. I’m delaying my vacation until three days after launch though.

I am excited AS HELL for Classic, but nowhere near this excited, I can’t imagine taking vacation to play WoW. There are enough hours after work in a day for me. That would be the perfect way to burn me out on it, the times I’ve always had the most fun in games was when I AINT GOT NO WORRIES, CUZ I AINT IN NO HURRIES AT ALLLLLLL

Two weeks off. With release being a Tuesday and the way the work schedule falls it will give me 16.5 days of classic playtime.

I am too low on PTO to take anymore than 2-3 days. Should be enough though as I dont want to rush the content. Just enough time to get immersed for a bit.

I’m retiring early and moving to a tree house in the rainforest. I want to really feel like I’m in STV this time.

By the time we get a release date some of us won’t be able to apply for vacation time. But, I can predict some individuals may have a ā€œconveniently timed illnessā€, yep, lol.

Think I am going to take off the second week, so I have a full week. Plus, those first few days will be overcrowded and there could be server issues, so that’ll give it time for people to spread out and things to settle down a bit.

I always save my limited vacation days as far into the year as possible until I just can’t stand it anymore, to give me something to look forward to so every work day is not bleak.

This year I made it to the third week of January.

Maybe the day of release? Maybe?

Probably not realistically though. Several friends and I are all going to be leveling and grouping together to re-experience the Vanilla world. So the goal will be to keep everyone at roughly the same level all the way up to 60. Any of us taking a bunch of time off would make that difficult.

I’ve already told my boss that he shouldn’t expect me at work for a week. XD

I’m excited for classic, but I don’t take vacation time for games. Games for me are to relax after work.

I’ll use some vacation after launch, maybe a couple 1/2 days.
