So who does Blizzard really listen too

They fixed that culture of sexism and racism by hiring diversity hires. That is why the game is trash

Yeah, but the world knows about it, and that is going to leave a bad stain on the company for ever.

It is clear Blizzard doesn’t care about the Community* as a whole.

Fixed that for u

Only for non-gamers.

True gamers love that sh*t

No, I actually disagree with this. But I just don’t have any proof of this considering I don’t really get out into the world and ask every single person.

Wellp. This thread is a downer to read through first thing in the morning.

Personally I think most of the changes theyve made to WotLK have been positive. Dual spec, to PVP world queueing, letting people level DKs early (that wasnt in the prepatch originally, right?)

I think removing RDF was them listening to a resounding sentiment that RDF and LFR and similar systems were “the beginning of the end”. It’s hard to argue that their heart wasnt in the right place. Decisions like that have nothing to do with “coorperate” or Activision driven. That said, they didn’t quite address the fact that RDF wasn’t the straw that broke the camels back; far from it. It marked a shift from TBC’s “difficult by tedious” game design and many loved that.

As is classic Blizzard, their true problem is sucking baboon butts at communicating consistently. And there is a valid critique that a game change such as RDF should be signaled via a better survey or polling system. And the replacement system, LFG, is shoddy and the feedback ignored.

As of now, no one ever knows when the next blue post will be, and about what. And whether it will be a hit and run or a CC post where the brown nosers come out to congratulate blues on being blues. Its the same problem as we had for many years, and we were told with Shadowlands and Classic Vanilla that they would fix their communication issue. But…. … … crickets… …

The game just became trash in the past two years? Not likely. Oh, and lets also remember that the woman they promoted to co-head the company resigned due to the same stuff mentioned in the lawsuit. So if they are making “diversity hires”, they aren’t doing a good job.

That guy has been gone for more than a year now.

I’ll play devil’s advocate for that guy. I used to agree that he was wrong but as Classic’s gone on a lot of people have proven him right. A lot of people don’t want what they thought they did in '19. They want xp boosts, cheaper gear, queueing tools, dungeon carries, WoW tokens, mega servers and transfers.

It only took 3 years of the old game for people to say, “okay, leveling takes too long” “I don’t have time to form a group” “small server communities are boring, they’re all just npcs for me to exploit anyways” “everyone’s already buying gold, wow token when?”

That guy definitely wasn’t right about everyone, there is a demographic that wants a game closer vanilla’s design, but he was absolutely right as a generalization from a business perspective. Most people don’t want vanilla, they want a game with the convenience of retail and the nostalgic look of vanilla.

Liked for reading this in female human voice.

What do you expect with retail players? The people that didn’t want that quit the game a long time ago or at least loathe it.

surveys are always a representative sample

because when they used to most of the CMs burnt out from the abuse

they still interact with feedback, which gets whatever poor CM who has to post about it abuse.

“doesn’t care” “doesn’t matter” “lies”
This post is loaded! If I were to read this, I’d not respond, no way. I think I’d be offended and move on to diplomacy.

Exactly. But they haven’t fixed that problem. Instead all they done is created the community council. But not everyone from the community council listens to the majority of others as well, and don’t really past on much feedback.

Everyone does have different opinions ofcourse, but the major things Blizzard should be listening too, not ignoring. They should be accepting all feedback, not some.

except they are interacting and active

Lets see…

And these are just for “today” and are blogs. I wouldn’t exactly call them, interacting.

you need more than 2 posts every 2 hours or something?

She quit because it was a unearned job and she was promoted because she was female to appease people. Nobody would want to be in that position.

Blizzard listen to $$$$$

Developing RDF costs $$$$$$

They can’t spend $$$$$$ to develop RDF.
