So where are the dk changes?

So many classes got a TON of changes, borderline full reworks with some of them imo.

And yet DK is nerfed in pvp and pve… and that is it? (other than the ghoul change)

Blizz pls tell me you have big dk changes coming which is why it wasn’t listed yet…

Pretty sure dk has had plenty of love from xpac start until now. This is the first pass of notes. If not at 11.1 then possibly 11.1.5

It did, but they didn’t fix the fundamental problems sadly.

You would think with 11.1 being a big patch they would have at least addressed issues people offered feedback on since beta that still linger.

Frost lacks meaningful ST damage and suffers from the worst RNG of any spec in the game. So, I’m not sure why we’re getting a tier set that adds more free cleave based on an RNG buff. I hear Enhancement Shaman is looking pretty good.

I understand your frustrations. They just fined the druid class tree so hopefully there is more to come.

No, that’s too much. Unholy works fine, what DK needs the most right now is a visual rework for the spells. But I agree Frost could get new things.

1000% buff on remorseless winter damage is not to be scoffed at

i see my winter tick between 70k-100k

that means 700k ticks or 1,000,000 ticks of remorseless winter, plus increased radius

if you have a team standing inside of that, they are dead lmao, if you are 1v1ing doing only pure ST, they are very dead i cant think of a class that can outheal 1m damage per tick, would have to be hard immunities, cc, or kite

1 pvp talent change fixes nothing for the major issues dk has a whole in pvp and pve.

Oh you pop pillar? Let me kite/los like normal, disarm, stun ect. Far too many ways to work around this. Losing out on the stun imo is not worth the trade off on top of other nerfs.

The new pvp talent is cool, but really thought dk would receive changes as a whole. Looking at the vast changes other classes had compared to dk… feels like such a let down.

Yeah that is insane damage on RW for the 1min go. The range is only slightly bigger, going from 8yrds to 12.

But my fear is that we will be further pushed into the 1min go and do nothing outside of it so people will just save buttons to escape the go. They won’t be stunned now so free to press mobility to get away. Plus even lower survivability ensures we will be running between gos.

But more realistically I think if it’s ticking for 1mil it will be op and cop a nerf.

it wouldnt be “OP” but itd be a noob killer for anyone who wanted to just facetank it and expect to live, therefore yes its gonna get nerfed since that tends to be how dk tuning works

anytime an ability with a generally easy counter is doing well, rather than figure out how to play against it, people of other classes would rather just cry until they no longer have to outplay it anymore

happened with DS, people were so bad and refused to learn how to time disarms or immunities during damage windows to land kills and avoid the 5 second DS healing rule, so instead they cried and cried until ds heals for 3% health now in arena and doesnt move the dks hp bar

^also happens to be why disarm is so toxic for pillar of frost too, since they effectively removed the need to disarm a dks self heals to land kills, meaning the only thing u actually have to disarm now is the damage

Silence also nullifies every dk ability.

DK has been left behind in many ways, not only in this but also visually. Every class received visual redesigns for spells and DK is still using 2008 looking spells. I don’t know why Blizzard simply forgets the class.

Except most of them legitimately are from wrath still. There have been multiple threads about it already.

Frost Strike
Howling Blast
Death and Decay
Scourge Strike
Death Coil
Death Strike
Heart Strike
Horn of Winter
Blood Tap

These have been changed or updated. There have been things that have been added like Festering Strike (also updated) and things taken away like Icy Touch.

So why cant you guys be realistic and just say you dont like the animations? Saying that things are the same from Wrath when they arent just makes Blizzard not listen because they know you are lying.

When most of the toolkit has been updated or changed then you saying things like

So no, your analogy of me saying 2+2=3 is just wrong.

What you guys are saying is the mustang car still looks the same as it did in 1967 when it has clearly changed.

Also, we can just log on and look at the ghoul and compare it to that of the old visual and guess what… its been updated and changed as well. We have the tools to check what you guys are claiming and what you are claiming is largely false.

So really you have 1 ability that you have listed that could get an update. Much wow.
