So Many questions! First one, do you think we’ll get 2-3 patches? Hopefully they don’t phone it in again with 2!
Next question, the bigger one to me, so I’ve been thinking about where things go from here. I think patch 1 is Haranir (Avatar ripoff people, but furries) stuff, patch 2 might be hallowfall, patch 3 will be Xala’tath!
Chances are though, I think the Arathi Empire stuff falls to obscurity, which is a bit sad, I thought it was kind of interesting, to be honest. That Chapel dungeon illudes some big stuff, and if Turalyon is any indications, men can’t resist elves for some reason. (I get classic Tyrande, she had it going on but not current her, nor blood elves!)
I think though, it’ll be Haranir, Xala’tath, then someone else. She’s leading into something I say, but what?
And now that I think about it, the Dwarves feel even more like oddballs again. The Skardin stuff was interesting, sure but it kinda reminds me of the Dourhands in LOTRO, and how their lord got turned into some Wraith for his loyalty to Sauron. Sure, many don’t know LOTRO lore enough to see all the similarities in systems and story right now, but it’s interesting.
Anyway, back to point, (Not really, knew point building off tangent) sorry for the tangent, but I do feel the Earthen should not have been touched. Maybe the Drogbar again or something else entirely different. Kobolds aren’t really… pivotal ignoring all the main story screentime they got, but I think upstairs on the Isle should’ve been something more… Horde Inclined. We’ve got dwarves, half-elves. this Expansion screams alliance again, give us something like weird Goblins, maybe runaway orcs, or Tauren? Something! Give the Boys something to work with. I know my lady here is human, but I regret moving to the alliance everyday, sure the story all around was poor for a while, but I was invested in the Horde side for a decade! The Earthen should’ve been left alone. They don’t have cities, they’re workers around titan machinery! I guess they could’ve copied other dwarves, but even the Deepholme Earthen didn’t change things when we got there! No unbound talk or anything, they’re happy to protect the Earth Mother!

I think we’ll definitely have a Haranir patch related to Elun’Ahir and the black blood, the Haranir homeland (as a new zone), discovering where the Haranir originated, and they will become an allied race.
There are already Goblins with a Spa set up underground, and somehow I don’t think they were on Dalaran with us.
Some Undermine seems very likely.
Because all the venture co goblins in Azj-Kahet mention tunneling in from Undermine and there will be a goblin related raid later. Not to mention Gazlowe being set up as a major player with his own short story.
I think we’ll get this in Midnight honestly. I don’t see Blizz double dipping in Races on a single expansion for the Saga. I could absolutely be wrong, just feels like they have other things planned for TWW already.
Well let me add to this. I feel like we’ll get a patch with more to add to the Harronir. Just not the rest of that post in this expac.
Interesting insights, a Goblin related patch would be pretty awesome! I really hope Goblins and Gnomes get more attention in the future, and maybe a Tinker class.
