Last week I was soloing 5’s and 6’s. They were difficult but I pulled it off. This week I’m getting my face smashed in. Just ran with a very solid group, all 190+. Final boss is getting his stacks and one shotting us before we can even get him to 60%. I don’t understand.

You’re only supposed to be able to do 5+ as a tank solo. Everything else has been nerfed so you have less fun or have to beg/plead/pay your tank buddy to duo with you.
Bad anima powers? I did all of the runs needed on my druid and had no issues whatsoever, this week actually felt the easiest of them all so far.

one week you can get all whites and one blue
other weeks 5 purples and 5 blues

They buffed the enemies for some reason.
Oh yeah, and Sinbolt Sally as I call her, has the ability to randomly pacify you and spams sinbolt which deals like 1/3rd of your healthbar, and because you’re pacified you can’t interrupt.
Genius design.

I mean i dont know who thought they would be clearing all layer 8 on the 1st month of SL … then what , twisting corridors and zerging layer 8 each week and complaining its boring or a chore ??

I’m not a tank. Last week I was running it as Shadow. Tonight was a full group of 5, with a tank and healer.
Yeah, that’s what sucks. I’m saying only tanks can do it. I did both 8’s on my prot pally this week and this guy cannot do even a 7. RIP Fun.
People are already clearing layer 8… the problem is you have to do it as a group and not solo which means it’s either not tuned for Solo or blizzard messed up royally on the scaling.
slowing down the progression won’t make it any less of a chore or boring in fact I would argue it would make both more so

I have the save Jaina quest and my Resto Druid can’t get past the one boss. This boss does the machine gun fire balls the heals to full if you don’t interrupt him. Its brutal and I haven’t found a way past yet. Only thing I can think of is to go feral.

Like i said , blizzard is just using us as guinea pig to fine-tune torghast … just a guess that their plan was to make layer 7-8 hard and we’re just stuck in the balance changes(which probably wont be over for a while)
They really need to go back to how Torghast was in Beta. Rather than increase enemy health ludicrously, their damage would increase more, and more anima powers would drop. This would result in a fast and fun gameplay style where you’d become a god, and you would either utterly destroy enemies, or they would delete you.
That. That was fun.
Now that we have this boring, frustrating, and just overall chore, I’ve lost a lot of respect for this expansion that I once had. It screams a lack of respect for player’s time. I understand that’s not the intention, but it is so frustrating spending hours inside this stupid tower because you are forced to not because you want to.

I dont know about you, but i just blazed through a 5 on my priest it wasnt too difficult, I actually felt like the quest line was a bit tougher
I was able to clear layer 6 on my druid with like 175 ilvl and now at 186 I can’t =D
The first floor boss will spam the same spell nonstopping hitting me for 15% of my health every second. I can interrupt it once, but it’ll resume casting immediately and I’m dead before the interrupt cooldown is over.

whiny ***** *** dps complained that the 1 thing that tanks/healers could solo effectively wasnt fair to them and had us nerfed, they overcompensated while tuning

Druid is one of the easier classes you should be able to heal through it and go in bear form
I cannot heal 15%/sec with 2 charges of frenzied regeneration.
