Just follow a guide and it won’t be so bad. If you have the money for boosts, its definitely the fastest way right now. SFK runs are fairly cheap. You can run them for a while and then hit the SM until 42. One thing you can do if you don’t want t pay for boosts but have some cash, is keep your weapons upgraded and get some enchants. Those fiery procs at low levels are nice.
I’m level 27. I’m in no rush.
60 just by questing cus Its fun, im now farming PvP.
I’m 12 atm and I’m pretty much truly starting fresh since this is my only Horde character. Might take me sometime to get with the Jones since I’m solo leveling a HPal which will take years to level lol.
Currently 53 now.
55 tonight with ungoro.
Max skinning and now 240 leather working.
How long did it take you to go 1-60?
I’m leveling through questing and just want to get an idea of how long it’s going to be
Im really slow and lose focus quick and it took me 4 days played, in classic a 60 would usually take me 12 days
personally took me about 4-5 days /played. i still have 1 more lvl to go too but its always the easiest. but also the starting zone was griefed and it doesnt account for being ganked, and doing other random things. in the past its taken me like 7-9 /played
also have tailor/herb almost maxxed out
I can only get on for like 3-4 hours a night. I reached 34 last night on my belf hunter. Probably will not be ready for June 1st but I don’t really care that much. May as well enjoy the journey. Any advice for the best guide to quest to 58-60?
47 as of about an hour and a half ago. Looks like the forums may have updated?
Edit: well my character portrait has, at least-
37 BE Lock. Not gonna make it in time for the opening but on the bright side I won’t be there for the frustrating cluster****.
Also I can’t switch to my lock on these forums. For some reason she’s not showing up on my character list.
Draenei Warrior: 60
Draenei Shaman: 30
Draenai Mage: 5
Have you thought about simply not being 60 when the portal opens?
Are you kidding… I have to rid that wave to get 9 characters attuned to raiding…
23 BE hunter.
started a Draenei to see their story start at least. level 9 ish I think.
Or (maybe) concern for all of the above listed things you provided in happening to you?
My brother did the same grind and I’ve been on him several times (and not politely) about how he needs to take a break to sleep/eat (we’re in our 30’s too.)
If that’s “trash” talking, then I’ve got a bridge in London for sale.
If they were name calling/saying you’re nuts/whatever … well …
Oh no, the ‘trash talk’ was from a friend apparently who’s idea of ‘commitment’ to the guild/her ambitions is blowing a big chunk of time and gold to come to Naxx in the last week of the expansion lol.
Apparently my time/gold is worthless in comparison to her purples she will replace in 2 weeks.
On that note then, I apologize for jumping to conclusions. While I understand the need to get to max level and what it can do to people in this game as I’ve fallen victim to it too.
Players in this game can be ruthless and think only of themselves.
Again … I apologize. I projected my own feelings about people putting their health/personal lives at risk just to get to 60. I get it, but I don’t agree with it.
I made 60 on my shaman last night, well under 5 days /played. Ran the same questing route I did for my toons before pre-patch (other than the starting zone of course) and three dungeons where I had quests, but 1-60 is a lot quicker now for sure.
Level 43 here thus far. I’m doing it the traditional, relaxed questing route, since I still enjoy the natural leveling process & I don’t want to be in the sweaty-mad-rush Outlands for the first couple of weeks anyway. Plus, I’m not the type to dungeon boost or otherwise exploit/cheat-to-win when it comes to my gaming.
