So what is with Vol'jin now?

Not at all. Tauren legends are bogus.

Yeah you can tell this is what they mainly wanted as Varian and Sylvanas were throwing banter at each other during the scenario, not to mention the Legion cinematic that has Sylvanas being the one ‘leading’ the horde troops on the Zeppelin. Even though Vol’jin was there and was the Warchief. Thereby outranking Sylvanas.

Hell even Sylvanas herself didn’t want to be Warchief according to her internal monologues in Before the Storm (I think) and wonders why Vol’jin named her so, and who was telling Vol’jin to do it. But then Shadowlands reveals she always knew who made her Warchief via Vol’jin and she always wanted the position as it would help lead the horde to their doom so Uncle Z could have more souls.

Erevien: DiD yOu fOrGeT a PlOt PoInT fRoM LeGiOn On PuRpOsE?

Last I checked Erevien, Legion happened BEFORE BFA.

Plot twist, it is Rezans final F you to Bwonsamdi.

After all, Vol’jin was Bwonsamdi’s favourite. And the two had a rivalry, mainly over King Rastakhan.

I still reckon the Tidemother the Kul Tiran tidesages worship is Elune. Due to the connection between the Moon and the Tides in real life. Also we do have an example of Elunes magic calming the remains of water elementals corrupted by the Twilights Hammer.

Yep, it was in Before the Storm. She cursed the loa after Nathanos informs her that Forsaken feel neglected. She outright notes to him that the Forsaken feel that she’s giving the other races within the Horde too much attention, while the others feel like she hasn’t given them enough.

It was a rather nice moment, that got ruined with the whole her becoming Warchief made her decide to join Team Jailer, since the “prophecy” was proven correct.

If this decanonizes BtS then I’ll take it.

Sylvanas would have been so much more on her element being the shadow in the Horde. Overseeing the forsaken, covert ops and espionage while leaving the open leadership to Vol’Jin.

But no, they had to kill my homeboy and butcher my homegirl.

God, I know the story isn’t the focus of the game but it did sink so low it created a cesspool that can never be fully cleansed.

The wiki is probably dead wrong as I’m sure that his last status was Loa-In-Training.

Racist (10 char)

Yeah I’m miffed that they axed Rezan as soon as he was introduced just to tee up Vol’jin’s ressurection.

Especially since Vol’jin should have been able to do it on his own, we already know powerful enough trolls can ascend into loa on their own.

If I’m not mistaken, the most recent Chronicles slightly changed Vol’jin’s story, with the current canonical version pointing out that Rezan did not sacrifice himself completely, but only granted a part of his essence to Vol’jin.

Based on this, the two may be reborn in the future.

Vol’jin was the best and his death was insulting.

Erevian isn’t a racist any more than I am. His posts are al about pushing buttons.

I am also pushing buttons because he keeps calling everyone a racist as well. So we are just all being idiots on the story forums.

Best way to push his buttons is to say the most ridiculous things you can think of about whatever WoW topic he happens to be talking about

By ridiculous, I mean stuff no reasonable person would actually believe or think for a momen that your being serious. It works like a charm :dracthyr_nod:

What is not reasonable about fixing the awful death of Vol’jin to something better?

Nothing unreasonable about it. It’s just how you go about it sometimes that turns genuine good ideas into a joke :dracthyr_nod:

Voljin won’t revive until the last Titan.
He won’t do anything of import, though.

The important thing is to never lose hope in better days.
