So what is the pvp damage reduction in the open world

Unironically starting to think this specifically tailored towards certain classes. Did I miss a balance patch?

Exo for Ret crits in raids at 1.6k on average, open world it can barely reach 700 most of the time it gits 600.

Starsurge crits me for 2k on average, highest I’ve seen reaching 2.4~

what is happening

For spell damage it is supposed to be 40% but in raids there are buffs/debuffs that affect damage. And I also don’t think it is perfectly the same for every ability some abils seem to do less/more dam then they should.
