Regular reminder that the Alliance playerbase had to collectively get on its hands and knees and BEG Blizzard to turn on cross-faction play, because the Alliance playerbase was (according to Alliance players) so bad at the game that they couldn’t even put groups together to do dungeons.
The Alliance doesn’t have the capacity to “allow” or “disallow” anybody else to do anything.
That might be true I’m not sure I haven’t been playing for a couple expansions all I know is I don’t PvE and Alliance gets all the War Mode crates since I’ve come back.
I still haven’t seen it but IMO i think blizzard should have put their absolute best foot forward with their initial movie and done the WCIII story. Done it up proper ala LotR
We are going to open a chain of food stands and sell authentic Horde style fire roasted kabobs on every Alliance City as we only now play supporting roles to the Alliance.
Until they need us to be “villains” again and assign us a mustache twirling War Chief which will divide our community until they are over thrown and then we’ll return to our food stands and being supporting characters to the Human Empire.
Good for you, as I said, collectively, the Alliance playerbase surrendered, by begging (BEGGING!) Blizzard on their hands and knees to allow cross-faction play.
Horde players didn’t give a damn, they were doing fine. But cross-faction was desperately needed for the few remaining Alliance players since, as they claimed, “nobody plays Alliance anymore” and “we can’t get anything done without the Horde to save us”.
I mean even today, you get Alliance players posting that Alliance racials are too weak, when Alliance racials have ALWAYS been more powerful, it’s just that so many Alliance players don’t even know what they do.
