Covenants. It appears we will be selecting between the covenants of the 4 zones, who will offer unique things to us.
The Vampire Covenant, very Goth inspired guys.
The Bastion Covenant, seems like angel people, light stuff.
The Tree People Covenant, very mysterious soullike forest stuff.
And The Scourge Covenant, just scourge stuff.
We will have shadow forged armor
Hmmm, so evil, it just might work!
I really hope the level squish doesn’t happen. So sick of every other expansion lowering numbers just to lower numbers. ITs just going to make level feel like it takes even longer. WOW is the only MMO I have seen that is scared of big numbers. No reason to squish levels they just need to decrease the time it takes to reach max level and come up with a more interesting talent system.

It’s confirmed in the press kit.
Every Level Is Meaningful: Shadowlands will introduce a new leveling system, meant to provide a meaningful sense of advancement with every level achieved. Current max-level characters will begin Shadowlands at level 50 and work toward the new level cap of 60.
The best feature will be the pruning of all our BFA abilities so we get to start fresh as weak nimble incomplete nibblings.

Sylvanas chain arrows seem like a dark ranger ability. I dont know if they usually announce in the cinematics, but there is that.

Diablo panel said there will 5 classes, which opening ceremony hasn’t mentioned
I’m okay with a level squish. I’d rather have that over some alternative advancement points that put stats on you…like what EQ did. It makes it easier for new characters and alts to keep up.
New expansion = lackluster story telling and new zones/quests? This is the worst expansion announcement ever. I would almost swear this is a joke…

They should’ve shown that in the gameplay/features trailer. There isn’t anything else.
There’s also nothing on the pre-purchase or sales pages about… anything else. Sad.
New mage/challenge tower and 3 zones. That’s it. Some covenants give 1-2 unique abilities. They’ve given up on WoW I guess.

Shadowlands features already posted by Blizzard, can be seen on mmochampion.
You get more races an option to go dk and more barbershop choices.
That’s it.

If I had to guess you join 1 of those 4 new factions which require you to get AP for them to power up your character.

Death knights are incredibly, incredibly boring to play, I’m sorry. I’m excited for ARs to become death knights but the class itself… bleh.
