We have been working pretty hard to protect the world soul, but I don’t think it was ever explained to us what will happen to Azeroth (world) when Azeroth (titan) stops being sleepy and actually wakes up to sling around all that PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER she supposedly has.
We saw Argus (titan) manifest after the Legion and Aggramar basically excavated his world soul and slung it over to the Throne of the Whatever, but Argus (planet) was pretty much destroyed at this point. You could see the sky from where the world soul was. Also, Argus (titan) is probably a lot less powerful than Azeroth (titan).
So, what happens? Does Azeroth (world) just become Azeroth’s (titan) body? Does it crack open like an egg and kill us all? Does she just… teleport outside and take all that magic with her?
And what happens to the Titan’s efforts on Azeroth (world) when Azeroth (titan) wakes up? Do they just stop caring about us?

The planet splits open, everything on it dies in the cataclysm as the titan emerges from the “egg” called Azeroth. Fade to black, game over.
World go boom, we get a space xpac that people will complain about non stop while playing it for 14+ hours a day

Another thing to consider,would she /he even recognize us from a enemy? If Azeroth woke up from sleep as real or a dream’s nightmare? We could unleash our own destruction.
Hopefully, we kill her, because the Primalists are right.
I sort of envision something like Marvel did in the Eternals Movie. Where this giant cosmic being’s birth means our world will be torn apart and anyone on the planet will be killed due to the destruction. Just think back to how big Sargeras appeared when he stabbed Azeroth with that sword. Now imagine that breaking out of the core of the planet.

The Primalists want to PROTECT Azeroth’s soul, their entire existence is because they believe that she’s not actually a Titan and all the Order they’ve pumped into her have started to pervert her true nature in the same way an Old God would, they want to get rid of all that Order and get her nice and purified again
We all become friends and take that goat ship to find a new planet. or we reopen the black portal and head that way.

Depending on the time. I would expect it to hit the snooze button. Otherwise I’d expect it to get right to it.
Likely nothing. The titans spent a lot of effort building machinery all over. Titans can turn into cosmic clouds. She will likely just pass through all the ports and reform outside of the planet. Argus didn’t blow up his planet when he finally woke up. The damage was caused by the legion before likely to gain direct contact with the core with no care of how it felt to Argus.

Titans can alter their size at will. We know that the other Titans are the same size as Sargeras and yet when we’re fighting Argus they’re all like… 50 feet tall.
…so quick thing that just ocurred to me: we’ve not set foot on Argus since he woke up.
After the fight, we went directly back to Azeroth and the portal closed behind us without letting us see what condition Argus was in.
DO we know if everything was okay on the planet after Argus woke up?
I think it is pretty safe to assume it’s an egg and we’re all done for if/when that happens. That said, I hope it does happen and it’s because we’re merged into the void collective consciousness as the void vs light grand cosmic battle came and we “lost” and now we’re stuck believing our previous life on Azeroth was a dream and the nightmare hellish version we “wake up” to is real.
In this world, things played out differently. The Legion comes to Azeroth. The scourge never was pushed back. Deathwing and the Aspects are driven mad and banded together to exterminate all life, etc. Basically every major win the Horde and Alliance had in protecting our world never happened. In fact the horde and alliance were never things and we’re all hidden underground simply trying to survive and take pot shots at whatever enemy force is getting too strong and/or eeking out an existence as we can. This would, effectively, be WoW 2 and allows Blizzard to canonically undo all of the narrative sins while building the game they want to build properly. For example, the world could be made SUPER dangerous for flying thus effectively not taking it away but essentially removing it nonetheless. The faction divide can be completely gone thus merging the players and allowing for full on grouping.
And we can always “dream of a better time” to revisit the old world before the void came and consumed us. In the real world, our newly born Titan can work to “save us”…perhaps even manifesting into the void world due to her connection to us from our time spent with her and the Heart of Azeroth and she can be the plot driving force helping us defeat the false void world from within while she travels the cosmos to find and rescue us.
I’m expecting a scene much like when Eywa finally woke up and figured it out in the first Avatar movie …
We should wake Azeroth up because if she dies in the dream world, she dies in real life.
What if Freddy Krueger is stalking Azeroth in her dreams and that’s why she has WOONZ?
