So what happened to Sira?

Is she actually going to do something/currently doing something or is she just another scrapped character to be forgotten about?

I figured it was implied we killed her.

Who the heck is Sira?

One of the Night Elf Wardens who died, got resurrected and instantly hated everyone and everything she ever knew.

Hopefully departing into the 404 sunset.

Sira Moonwarden, former second in command of the Wardens, was acting commander in the decade or so between Maiev’s hunt beginning and her returning to the fold in Legion. She was killed and reanimated in 8.1 before joining the Horde.

In 8.3, both her and Delaryn will be under Calia’s care as she tries to heal their minds.

Right? lol
/sigh
blizz, blizz, blizz sometimes its just sad.

What is sad?

I’ve see a lot of people saying she’s dead, but couldn’t really find any confirmed material for that. My guess is that she’s on the shelf atm.

A lot of the confusion likely comes from the fact that Darkshore was originally going to be a clear Alliance win, with an entire victory speech having been recorded and added to the files
 and then never used.

probably because they remembered their rule nr. 1 to never give night elves a victory.

They took an established vindictive character and completely changed their personality around so they could have a ‘Dark Warden.’

That’s what it really comes down to, nothing to do with the story, they just wanted a edgy looking character, I mean, her armor changes color the moment she is resurrected.

it’s implied we killed a lot of people, but then why is Liadrin patrolling org

Which makes perfect sense with the lore that everyone keeps ignoring:

Upon first being raised, a Forsaken does not have free will. It takes more concentrated magic to release an undead’s mind. However, some undead, especially those who die in combat or under extreme stress and are raised soon after, enter into a violent, frenzied state. Undead in this state are easily manipulated and their rage is often directed at the foes of those who raised them. Psychological pressure can also be used to turn freshly-raised undead to the side of the Forsaken instead of the one of their former allies.

My understanding is the alliance win both warfronts lorewise and the horde winning ones may have been cut. Lorewise it’s often only one faction that carries out an actual raid but both will see it in game. This is no different, they can write the ending however they want irrespective of whether we see Liadrin, Trollbane, Sira or Maiev die in game.

Shes the darkshore warfront end boss we kill.

Probably because that answer seemed rather convenient and was to answer a question about free will and while trying to make it seem like Forsaken do in fact have it, it says the contrary.

You also forgot this part.

After the effects wear off, if the risen corpse has not been destroyed, they are given the same ultimatum that other Forsaken are offered: join the Dark Lady or return to the grave.

Also, when Sira talks to the player, she doesn’t seem to be in a frenzy state, but rather calm. She wasn’t a mindless skeleton thrashing about, but become one of the Forsaken Commanders.

There is some weird things going on with the newly made forsaken. You kinda have to do the new undead intro quest to see it. They really don’t have free will like they used to before Sylvanas took that shot to the head. In the Horde war campaign you see Voss “helping” a newly made undead. She really is just brainwashing her into thinking the way she thinks. Zelling is really the only newly made undead that has not been tampered with. That is mainly due to the Horde “watching” over his family for him.

I would like to see the Night Elves raise above and take back their undead brothers and sisters. I doubt that would happen but it would be interesting to see them do what the Humans failed to do.
