So what do we call the continent the Eastern Kingdoms is on?

Because it was once called Azeroth as is.

Heck the Kingdom of Stormwind was once called Azeroth.

Well, actually it use to be called Kalimdor.

As far as we know: The Eastern Kingdoms.

There’s not a separate term for the geographic area.

Technically the Eastern Kingdoms was three continents.

Lordaeron
Khaz Modan
Azeroth

The Landmass known as the Eastern Kingdoms is just called, the Eastern Kingdoms. North of the Thandol Span is the continent of Lordaeron, south of it is the continent of Khaz Modan. Stormwind was once known as the Kingdom of Azeroth, and was on the continent of Azeroth, which was the land south of the Blackrock Mountain ridgeline.

As far as I know, the continent south of Blackrock Mountain is still called Azeroth.

This is also how my recently-purchased copy of the RPG divided it.

It is also how the Eastern Kingdoms are labeled in the map flyover in the original World of Warcraft cinematic.

The titans and it’s creations called it Azeroth as well.

When the Titan’s referred to Azeroth, they were referring to the Planet as a whole. They technically didn’t have a separate name for the Continents.
