cause i have a ton of tinker, meta, and cogwheel gems, taking up my bagspace, and i dunno what to do with them.
i’ve been using the same ones since i started running around, i don’t need all these other ones. i mean, the game’s not even letting me scrap’em, so… what am i supposed to do? just sit around deleting them, one after the other?
the game’ll let me scrap the prismatic ones, but i’ve only got a small handful of those… what do i do with the others?
Just keep them in your bags?
i’ve already got a bag full of these things, and they’re starting to fill another one already too! there’s too many of’em, i mean, i got less armor and weapons than these dang things!
blizz really should’ve let us scrap them too.
They upgrade after three, I think there is a total of 9 or so actual different gem types. My first character hit 30ish if I remember correctly and was still using one bag for them. I’d throw away the tinkers or gem types you are not going to use.
If you have 3 of the same gem then upgrade them, or leave them at the bank in case for later use
should be able to scrap them.
upgrade them and just hold on to the highest ones unless you’re not going to play other specs then just keep the ones you need and scrap the rest
bank em so you dont get them again. Check wowhead to make sure you are using the right ones. And keep them in case their thoughts change.
I feel some are interchangeable or you can do your own thing. Like on cogwheels, the guide says to use blink. No sir! I am using heroic leap on this pally
I think he’s lumping all slotables in the "gem " category.
As of now, nothing we can do. Should head to the bank in Vale and juat deposit them there. There’s a bag vendor in the same room that sells the 32 slot bags for like 20 bronze.
I forgot I had a bank to store stuff in. Of course, I haven’t gotten there yet.
Dump the ones you know you’ll never use in the bank, deleting them would be a waste of time since that’ll make them able to drop again.
Fretting about space is also kind of a waste imo, it’s not like there’s anything else to put in the ~160 space inventory.
Maybe I want to save up and open 150 boxes at once.

There’s an NPC in the bank who sells 36 slot bags too so you will have plenty of bank space.
