So what all does Arcane Torrent dispel that regular dispels cannot?

I know Blessing of Protection and Cloak of Shadows fall into this category but Ice Block and Divine Shield do not. What else can it dispel? Thanks.

Anything that is purgable but isn’t an immunity, like Ice block, bubble. It isn’t any different than regular dispel.

You can Belf BoP and not purge it

You can most definitely, 100% purge BoP. Can also single target dispel it as a priest (and mass dispel) and mages can spellsteal it.

bop isn’t divine shield, it’s blessing of protection
bop is and always has been purgable

and you cant belf divine shield but yeah you can MD it

Really, guess I haven’t seen shaman versus paladin often enough to know that the spam purge button works on BoP

belf doesnt remove cloak and neither does MD

Wow, what a bunch of useless grouchy pricks. The guy asked what it can purge and yall just say “anything purgeable”, like you may as well say “you can arcane torrent anything that arcane torrent works on”. How about you all stop bickering and actually offer a useful answer.

Arcane torrent only dispels 1 magic effect, so the target has to be clean for it to have a 100 percent chance to work. Otherwise it’s rng. It works like regular purge and will get any magic effect.
