I was hoping we’d dedicate an expansion to it. But I suppose if any expansion was gonna have it the dragon one makes sense.
Who’s excited?
Do you think we’ll finally get new druid races this patch? IT would make sense.

me too, kinda sad its just patch but butter than nothin
i’m not, cuz it’s gonna be mis-handled.
They wasted Nazjatar on one patch and then N’Zoth on one patch and now the Emerald Dream is next.
They already soured my love for the aura of mystery surrounding Elune, now they’ll do same for Emerald Dream.
I have never wanted to go to the Emerald Dream, and I’m so thankful it is contained within a single patch instead of an expansion.
I think there are some places and some things better left to the imagination. The Emerald Dream zone will never live up. What we’ve seen is beautiful but it’s just a portion. They made this mistake in Shadowlands with the death realms and Alune.
They still could really.
Yup. Id bet its gonna be full of new currencies to buy mediocre gear and the zone will be empty in 2 weeks.
I’m sorry to offend but there’s not enough to make an Emerald Dream expansion marketable as we encounter it’s plots in nearly every expansion. That stays off the table. ![]()

edit: Still sorry for being mean.
maybe a druid Hozen
May be new but it’s just a bunch of reused assets. Kinda sad they did it that way.
I doubt we’ll get any new druid races, there was an interview I think and we’ll be only getting some new forms I think and a few little things.
Am I excited? No. I do love druid themes and lush green zones. I’ll probably enjoy the zone but excitement will end there lol… don’t have high hopes for the new content added there.
The emerald dream is stupid.
That’s true. Personally I’d find if they did a ‘zone by zone’ through an expansion here & there wouldn’t be so bad either … Like we may access ONE zone in the Emerald Dream, but as explained in the lore - The Dream has multiple layers, and is just about as large as Azeroth itself.
Thus we could explore another zone in the dream or more in expansions ahead. ![]()
If they decided to extend the lore, it’d be a neat concept if they explained that there’s a few other worlds that have their own Emerald Dream or verdant wonderous realms and can interlink with one another.
Sort of like in ‘Avatar: The Legend of Korra’ when the spirit portal awakened more Airbenders — Having the Dream open up in various locations around Azeroth and more Wild Gods & Loa step forth could be a good justifiable reason to help other races have an awakening of their own and venturing further into the path of the dream. ![]()
In this patch, I hope we see the OG Anzu back from Outland — Being forgiven for assaulting the dream and being granted refuge in the dream of Azeroth – So long as Anzu protects it, as penance of sorts. You could add in a cool questline for another wild-god who seeks to find Anzu who has been avoiding her, then when they meet - Reveal it is Rhukmar (Who Anzu had a thing for, but was scared he would be rejected when he became flightless upon feeding on Seethe) ![]()
There’s so much lore & gameplay potential when it comes to Wild Gods and Loa, I feel like they squander it so much ![]()
Not me, and I mained a Druid for 15 years.
It’s just another Alliance-themed zone.
are you still with the druid - married for 15 years is a decent length of time
I brought it out for a few fights in Mythic VotI last season.
With how fast this expansion moves, it will be a dead zone within 2.5 months as they release the next flavor event to replace it.
The Emerald Dream means absolutely nothing in this turbo-present of story telling. It might as well be a completely new zone without context because it’s probably going to disappoint everyone in some way.
