Don’t complain when your queues get very long then? They shouldn’t have to “fix” the game for a player-made issue either.

I never have? I played classic, these queues aren’t long, you are all entitled whiners who think the game should cater to you hand and foot, both alliance and horde are extremely guilty of this, alliance has some sort of victim complex where they shoot themselves in the foot and blame it on the horde who is just trying to play with their friends.
In short go back to retail.
Horde get a participation trophy for choosing Horde on the character select screen. Solo que Alliance lose like 80-90% of BGs. So if the point of this box is to incentivize more alliance to win BGs which will help Horde reduce queue rimes and give PvE Alliance a reason to que then… win win for all?
You say that you see the Alliance and Horde equally in that they’re entitled whiners, but then you explicitly mention the Alliance and act like everyone playing Horde just wants to, “play with their friends”.

The HvH BG’s are against the spirit of the game in every way shape or form.
PVP being balanced is an entirely moot point as long as we have cross server battle grounds.

This doesn’t really make sense in any realistic wow terms. The game is about incentivizing you to do stuff in a never ending cycle. You can do BG’s because you enjoy them, but lets be real that does not last long if you are behind the power curve of the current cycle.

I agree even as a horde player this is bad for alliance… you do get bonus honor from enlistment but they should add a possible random 1 bg mark in the loot box and maybe some green pvp gems or something more pvp related.

Why is it a lower win rate?
The easiest way to look at it is like this, if their fix had reduced horde queue times by 5%. Horde would have been up in arms. OMG BLIZZARD you call this a FIX!!@!
Lets say most players care about gold with respect to training epic flying, 5000g. They are incentivizing alliance players with the equivalent of 0.1% of an epic flying mount. Yippee.
To some it is more insulting that is their fix than it is helpful.
Wait im pretty sure alliance dont get more bonus honor? The only “bonus” we get is 3g in vendor trash after a win from my understanding?

The enlistment bonus will be a repeatable Level 70 quest offered by the Alliance Brigadier General in any Alliance capital city or Shattrath. The quest rewards a Battleground win with a box of loot that includes an appropriate amount of consumables, crafting materials, and currencies/tokens.
if it suppose to help make alliance que for pvp… why not have something in it that benefits pvp? i don’t see getting nothing pvp helps the cause to que pvp
