So we can't choose our secondary stats on our tier sets 10.1?

i thought there was a patch note saying you can keep the secondary stats of the base gear you’re upgrading from with the catalyst in 10.1

ex: haste vers conquest helm upgrading to haste vers tier set

  • not the haste vers base changing to crit haste (crit not ideal because it’s much weaker in 10.1)

Small indie company

They should bring back reforging and just let us decide for a 5% reduced cost.

Or just let stats scale with how sweet your tmog is like God intended

Sounds like the perfect system tbh

Blizz thinks that foregoing vers for tier bonuses is a “meaningful choice”. That is why they won’t allow you to re-roll stats, and why they don’t want to bring back reforging.

It does not inspire confidence when a change like this happens a literal day before this is supposed to drop.

I thought the point of the PTR was to test this stuff?

You expect it to be playable tomorrow? :stuck_out_tongue:
They gave it two days…

when they referenced getting to pick our stats, they were talking about the new items added to honor and conquest vendor.

They are optional crafting reagents and when used to make a normal piece of crafted gear, it attaches the “Item lvl 450 in pvp combat” tag to the crafted piece of gear.

Since it uses a crafted piece as the base, you can select the secondaries on it. For example if you want double haste/versa rings or just a more even stat instead of heavy vers/low haste, You can buy 2x 525 conquest reagents from the conquest vendor and have someone craft you 2x crafted rings with stats of your choosing.

These crafted rings will scale up to conquest ilvl in pvp because of the reagent you used to make them.

Non embellished crafted gear is not unique, meaning any slot that has a craftable item you can have a pvp version made with stats of your choosing.

thank you for ur service

does every slot for all armor types have crafted gear then potentially? am i correct in thinking that you can spend 525 for the conquest reagent for every slot besides maybe a weapon and trinket and ask someone to craft it for you with your conquest?

The PvP crafting component costs the same amount as the conquest cost to buy the piece…for example, the token to craft a chest piece costs more conquest than the token to craft gloves. There’s a lesser token for ~525 conquest, a normal token for 700 and a greater token for 875.

Is there a limit to how many pieces of crafted gear you can wear? Or is it only a limit on Embellished crafted gear like season 1 was? Ty.
