So warriors are just screwed for all of WOTLK?

I thought during Ulduar they were using prot warriors for speed runs or was I mistaken? Mobile phone is tough to check on.

reroll ret, the better warrior.

Rets are incapable of not having their souls corrupted if they wield such a weapon. For warriors know not of the light or the old gods. We don’t care about such lowly concerns. We care about a finely tuned blade thats so sharp, it cuts through the fabric of reality

Northrend has been full of low quality blades and that is not our fault.

Never heard of being hyperbolic? I never got invited to a 5 man easily as fury until I was 5.5k

I had to watch countless people 500gs below me get picked over me for half a year because fury still has phase 1 we are garbage stigma lmao

He’s victim complex personified so yeah, it is :stuck_out_tongue:

They were, but yanno, that doesn’t fit the narrative.

Speed runners also ran a BM hunter over a ret for 3% damage.

Ret was pretty awful so not surprising.

“Screwed for all of WOTLK” in warriorspeak means:

“being middle of the pack, before going up close to the to top of the pack”

How will they survive???

UH DK, assassination rogue, Fire mage, Elemental shaman, survival hunter, boomkin, destro lock, among others are all S++ PVP tier/gladiator lvl specs that also do extremely well in PVP, some with very small talent adjustments.

Arms is just bad. The fact it pairs well with paladin, the most broken class in the game, so that it can be viable in 2s is an aside. It also has one of, if not the worst, success rate in 2s (its representation drops from 1500 to gladiator, while other classes like mage has representation triple). Its the worst 1v1 class, okay in threes, and then becomes increasingly less useful in 5s and BG content. 5s is literally almost all caster cleave once you break 2.2k mmr because its so vastly superior to everything else while also being easier to play.

It would be entirely possible for arms to not be meme tier damage in PVE yet here we are.

From the very bottom by a 45% gap to middle of the pack, perhaps middle upper with a rare legendary that most wont have, is more accurate and is also reflected on warcraft logs. You know… reality. There is a reason many quality raids have taken 0-1 of the warrior class all expac.

OK then argue for arms buffs.

You aren’t though, you keep persistently arguing for a 10% buff to fury which is utterly ridiculous.

if only you had like 15 years warning lol

I never advocated for this, although it would put numbers in line with all the misinformation going around. It would put warrior among the ferals.

Realistically, just remove all the changes. Back to original stats and call it a day. If they want to play wanna-be-devs and change classic though, put the 5% nerf into feral’s glyph, reduce the AP coefficient of hand of reckoning by half so that it does 4-5% more dmg and not 10% (or as were seeing it become more around 8% with ICC gear). Change the hunter trap to a glyph and not be built-in. And for warrior, make titans grip -8% and not -10%, or remove the rage cap to execute that was put it in the final patch of original wotlk so that warrior plays more like it did in actual WotLK. This would help arms, and make execute not the worst execute in the game, and only buff fury up a couple percent overall at most and not buff their cleave at all while also helping arms climb out of its dumpster fire.

Considering that these issues stem from modern major meta breaking changing to classic and have nothing to do with original wotlk, there was no warning for any of it if this is what you were referring to.

What?

These are all posts arguing for you to change titans grip anywhere between 5 and 10%.

I’m sure there’s more if I could be bothered doing a search for something other than just titans grip, but you’re really not worth that time.

I’m sorry that you arent getting your shadowmourne first… but maybe consider the possibility that you arent a special snowflake and you don’t deserve anything to be handed to you.

Warriors are fine, you arent entitled to be #1

Youre quoting a sarcastic rhetorical question about quality of life changes in one instance, and then citing some unrelated posts.

The changes I just listed above would be what I “advocate” for. Maybe up to 5% off TG. But others have suggested 10% and Ill be quick to note that this is what would put warrior with the ferals. But in terms of what I advocate for, it would be that feral loses 5% and that warrior doesnt get the whole 10%. Actually truly what I would advocate for would be for all of these changes made by unqualified developers to simply be reverted. No +10% on TG, no hand of reckoning glyph, no faeri fire glyph, etc, because this isnt a game for them to balance.

You definitely lost Shadowmourne prio to a ret paladin hahahaha

A flat 5% buff to fury is an utterly ridiculous request on it’s own, never mind how it’s supposed to be related to how arms is “bad”.

A 5% buff to fury it would still be below feral, a high utility spec with an in-combat resurrections and innervate . It would barely beat ret, if at all.

It already beats ret even without overpower which is apparently too hard for you to pull off.

A 5% buff would put fury ~800 dps ahead of feral.

But oh no, you don’t believe in sims unless it fits your narrative where you can claim “ret is better than fury”, amirite?

You know the clown emoji isn’t a mirror right?

Having 1 warrior to shout doesn’t really equate to bringing 6 paladins.

But you keep telling yourself whatever you need to keep up your make believe.
