What they’re mourning is that the Eastern Kingdoms DMV has yanked his Drivers License for rawhiding Dalaran around like it was a top fuel funny car. And his jail sentence for reckless driving. (Which is how Dalaran gets wrecked, by the way.)
If Khadgar does die at the start of TWW, it’s a shame he doesn’t take the rest of the cast with him.
No worries. Raven form gets Dynamic flight in TWW…just ask the druids who use that flight form.
“Nothing’s worse than saddle sores.”
This is exactly my thought. The reason everyone is saying he’s dead is the alpha has a memorial to him and some major characters grieving his loss. But unless that hidden scene has us seeing something (even that I will be slightly skeptical, because he’s a mage) I’m definitely not believing he died off screen.
No credit for the kill, nerubians are on an opposing faction.
Hang on, though; maybe one of them loots it, so a mage could loot it later?
It kinda makes me want to play mage for war within. As storywise Khadgar always seemed like the closest thing to a mage player characters master.
In a Wowhead preview about NPCs giving Work Orders in TWW the example NPC in the pictured work order was Khadgar.
Maybe Khadgar is sending engineering work orders from the Great Beyond?
no one is really corrupted by the void any more then people are corrupted by the light or the fel. we all got to pick a side that’s kind of how the lore goes now.
Void-corrupted Khadgar? Let’s just hope we don’t “find out” that the real Khadgar’s been dead for years, and the person we know as Khadgar is actually Agamaggan or Sargeras or Johnny Awesome in disguise.
P.S. I’ve had a crush on Khadgar for years…
Corruption didn’t disappear in the lore.
The real question is… If/when Dalaran is destroyed, what happens to Dog?
no but the good and bad of it did.
We don’t know if he dies.
We know that the rest of the people in the cinematic stop and “take a moment for Khad’gar”
But they might only be presuming he’s dead.
Khadgar isn’t dead until we either see him die or see a body. Classic storytelling rule.
There is still the lore that people can be driven mad by these magics, but it would definitely feel rushed if it happened all at once.
Also false.
And if all we see is an explosion then we can assume he teleported away and the other characters are just not using their heads.
wait…WHAT? Khadgar dies???
…not even going to threaten, just walks away…scowling…crying…sobbing.
bah, AND please say it’s not so.
We riot with such force that not even the “Make Taivan big again” crowd could be comparable to our rage until Dog appears safe and sound in the city hub, where we clearly brought them after rescuing them from the Dalaran rubble.
