So wait Nightborne don't get dark ranger skin

But they’re also not getting demon hunters… since the boss is actually a void elf … what did Nightborne do to be treated like this, is blizzard just mad they had to give them glowing hands or that people were upset that the npc model looked better than the playable one.

Nightborn are just uglier night elves. Definitely the players models are terrible to the npc ones lol

neither are void elves.

  1. Nightborne weren’t being raised by Sylvanas during War of Thorns.
  2. A boss is a boss and has nothing to do with anything else.

What’s the logic for dark ranger nightborne? :telescope::robot:

There is none. LOL

the nightborne werent there when sylvanas raised the night elves into undeath, and any void elf dark ranger was one before they turned to the void

At least there’s the black mirror but that a much too expansive concept. The dev team still hadn’t completed the potential of visage forms. :robot::sweat_drops:

It goes by established lore. I know that’s silly given what they’ve done with race/class combos lately. They could just do like they did with Eredar and slap some lore on there and just give them the ability to use it.

Live in an isolated society where they weren’t exposed to the Forsaken/Scourge and able to be raised as undead minions for Sylvanas, nor to be part of the Illidari’s demon hunter training. They stayed inside and missed all those events.

It isn’t, they haven’t put in any illogical combinations. This thread starts with a complaint that they didn’t make one of those lore-breaking combos possible.

Tauren Rogue is definitely one that doesn’t really make sense. And I’m not saying I’m against them. I’m saying there is an avenue because of what they’ve already allowed.

Rogue is an entirely learned skill set. It absolutely makes sense that Tauren could learn it.

I’m not saying they can’t. I’m saying something so big with hooves wouldn’t really easily sneak around.

but void elves were? nothing is stopping Sylvanas from raising fallen allied nightborne.

theyve existed since vanilla.

If I remember correctly, Thalissra gave a snarky remark about “training in Ashenvale” right before the War of Thorns broke out. Pretty sure they participated. So, since we’re talking about Forsaken here… I’m sure they could’ve been risen, too.

Honestly, this option should be given to DKs, DHs and Nightborne.

There are no nightborne dark rangers in canon, mostly because they were largely pushed off to the side after joining the Horde, and the dark ranger armor and Darkfallen skins for the other elves were existing assets. The artists weren’t going to throw something together for nightborne as a reward for a quest that otherwise took no effort to make. The only reason void elves can be Darkfallen is because they already have every other blood elf skin option now.

Void elves probably won’t, either. This is all speculation based on the existence of a single boss and has a good chance of amounting to nothing.

You’re saying Tauren Rogues have existed since Vanilla??

This was already answered for you.

Tauren Roger absolutely wasn’t around in Vanilla.

Hooves are quiet. Horseshoes are not.

Better than the logic for Lightforged Draenei Warlock but that ship already sailed.
