Yeah. How do I do that? Is it just in the regular wow classic client I can choose the server or what?

Choose Public Test Realm (Classic Era) in the launcher before you click play and it will install the beta. The only server is the season of mastery beta server but it is offline now.

In case you missed it in the mastery thread go to account settings/game subscription and at the bottom make sure you have a PTR account added and then you will have the option show up

Do all characters roll over to the launch? Or do they just disappear at launch?

They will be deleted at launch. Well, maybe not deleted since launch will use a different server. Beta characters do not carry over to live.

Trying to create a ptr account in the accounts page just refreshes the page but wont actually add an account. the accounts seems to be offline as well as the realm
