It disabled one of my racials. The bonus exp from exploration racial. Because it auto explored all zones without any exp. I just wanted the FPs and instead I lost one of my racials and my main way of levelling.
For now I’ve chosen to gain exp via pumkins.
In those moments, this is where the Heirloom maps are better. You get the FPs without losing that XP.
Yeah I would never use that ability, why would I give up exploration exp and it puts it on every character’s bar which I quickly removed. As far as I can see all my new characters have all flightpaths unlocked already.

That super sucks. There should be a character-specific revert.
Hindsight’s 20/20, but with skyriding I don’t think you really need flight paths to get to new areas anyway. I’d just zoom around and probably never even interact with any NPCs lol
I couldn’t imagine leveling so slow in modern WoW.

That would do it, yeah. That is for explore.
Flight paths are auto learned for all alts once ONE character has discovered it.
I only click that once a character has hit max level.
Did it auto explore them or did you click on the ability to explore them? Because I haven’t had anything auto explored on my alts.
Utilizing the toy doesn’t remove your ability to receive XP for discovering new areas, the only thing it does is remove the fog of war on your map, it doesn’t take away the ability to earn XP you receive for arriving in those areas for the first time.
The downside of course is you can’t see where you’ve already explored unless you keep track, but you definitely still receive discoverable XP for the first time. I know because I made the mistake and used it but was still able to accumulate the XP and this was just a few weeks ago.
Hmm when I tried exploring the khaz for the first time it didn’t give me exp. Maybe I missed it and can try again.
Finally testing it out and not getting any exploration exp. Maybe they hotfixed it in between me using it and you using it.
They also spam your guild with achievements which is fun during raid.
Or they did, idk if theyve been changed.
Yeah, they did away with that spam, and doesn’t even show YOU any more LOL so I sometimes go back to see if I missed one.
