yeah sure more people blah blah but that’s not what’s going on here.
mats that were selling for 1k a piece are now going for 3g a piece, meanwhile they’ve been steady at around 1k the entire early access
this is clearly botting. Blizzard allows bots to ruin the economy, this has been happening for awhile now, but it’s to such a bad extreme now that it’s not even worth farming mats at all anymore
which also makes it impossible to make gold reliably. Which means you better fork up that $$$ to pay your sub.
It’s sad.

Crafting is where the money is.

Not sure it’s botting, but more so that people still don’t understand how the AH works. So they just keep undercutting relentlessly for no reason. (Botting is probably a part of the issue, but it’s def not it as a whole)

The logic behind early access AH prices were that if people can afford the Epic Edition of TWW, they can likely afford WoW Tokens, and so naturally the prices of everything was over inflated.
It’s like a rich person’s club for in-game economies.

Honestly EA was worth every penny, I got to experience fun fast leveling before blizzard ruined it AND I got to make a ton of gold selling stuff before markets crashed. Will be buying it again.

I don’t like paying 750 gold for healing potion, even if I had 243.2 billion in gold(aka Elon Musk worth).

I mean so did I and i did not need to shell out an extra 40 bucks lol.
The basic materials for JC and engineering at least have stayed fairly consistent. The only major difference is the lowest price is far more stable because more quantity is being posted. The major loss in price I’ve noticed is for rare gathered items such as Null Stones.
Fair enough, I got to experience it all and spend zero dollars.
Prices were never meant to stay at those points. They were always going to normalize. Have you never played an expansion launch? Honest question.

Make sure you play on a high-pop server and craft. They don’t want any of us on low pop servers to make money anymore.
Honestly good, not a fan of greedy gold goblins.

Well, guess I can focus on crafting some now that mats are properly priced.

Enchanting mats have stayed about the same with the actual enchants tanking, so it costs way more to make it than to just buy it.
Region wide ah. There are probably bots but it’s mostly people just smacking their mats onto the ah for whatever price… it’s across the whole NA server.
Dumb question, but seems like you choose to keep your head buried in the sand.
This isn’t “normalizing”, the prices straight up tanked. This isn’t prices stabilizing at a more meaningful level, no this is the economy crashing because bots are running rampant. Go pick up some herbs or mine and you’ll see all the “waduawibd” names that look like they’re following a script go from one node to another.
It’s disgusting. I’m not sure what in you compels you to try and rationalize this but okay.
EDIT: this literally killed games like Lost Ark, and back then there were people like you trying to “justify” it also and pretend like it isn’t happening. Lmao.
It is what it is I made my gold in the 3 days now I’ll farm less either way those 3 days of early access made me more then enough for the entire expansion.
Anyone who didn’t expect this just doesn’t understand how economies work.

If bots are making the AH prices go down, good. If undercutters are bringing the prices down, also good.
