So uh Blizzard, about Necro DH

At this point it appears as if for whatever reason, probably best left unsaid, it doesn’t really matter what goes on as long as there’s some form of attention.

And it’s apparently OK even if it’s ridicule or disdain, as long it’s something. Can only imagine the conundrum when trying to be impressive there’s flaunting about being a “community personality” and then having to come up with rationale/reasons for not showing these threads as then the reality of said “popularity” would be exposed.

Since it’s celebrated as entertainment by both sides in different ways let’s just enjoy it continue to have some fun at least until/if Blizzard catches on in how it’s creating a somewhat non-productive environment for these forums.

(It can be argued that some good things and thoughts come out of some of the threads.)

lol necro DH is really good but so are ferals, arms, ww, rets, hunters, etc. Arms is still the biggest atrocity imo.

Good luck lining someone you can’t see.

I agree with you dozer. NERF DH. Tired of seeing all these FOTM re rollers. Every other game is a DH now lol, before I’d see a DH once a night.

Out of all the those none of them could catch up to a dhs dmg, i see a dh aff lock and somehow the dh does 200k more dmg than the aff lock. over a 4 min game btw.

I think its important to note that most of the Aff lock is spread pressure, whereas DH is out damaging that mostly ST, and gets even worse if they get to cleave.

Its pretty crazy.

Wrong, his damage is AOE. Immolation aura mixed with the legendary and conduit to increase damage. Blade dance/death sweep. Fel rush his everyone it goes through.

Max dots should not be outdmged by 3 aoe abilities especially if it is only single target

Eye Beam is aoe
Blade Dance and Death sweep are aoe
Fel rush, glaive tempest and trail of ruin are all aoe
Immolation Aura is aoe, and most of them play Burning Wound

What Im saying is that DH can focus all these abilities on a ST and still out damage any spread pressure spec.

its pretty much fact

If you really break details down it’s a lot of AOE and padded damage, all the pets get hit with AOE and the teammates. Everyone has a pet cause everyone has Kevin lol. Some DH also don’t kill their demon right away and save it for a heal, get out of cc, or dam. So that demon following someone also is taking DH aoe.

Can we stop with the half truths? Without Glaive, and simply ST, DH is outdamaging rot pressure specs, and if you start adding in cleave on top, it goes way out there.

DH is doing the most damage by all metrics in the game right now by a gigantic margin. The only place where its behind is on burst.

No, I’m pretty sure Affliction does more spread pressure than a single-target Havoc.

As Sucio says, Havoc has a fair bit of “fake” damage.

its really doesnt tho, but try again.

And there’s also no ‘‘fake damage’’, its straight pressure with a class proccing avatar and a heal on a rng proc.

Evidenced by boomie/dh/rsham taking over the ladder even at the highest part of the ladder.

Yeah, to their demons.

Nah man, go watch whazz/venruki streams, there is a bunch of games for you to browse through of high lvl DH gameplay.

We all know to exclude throw glaive, you’re not teaching anyone anything new.

Even without throw glaive, DH is outpressure everyone ST by a large margin. Thats just a fact.

Im having a hard time understanding what the hell an LFG healer is?
Every healer is an LFG healer

A healer that’s presently using LFG to find people to queue with.

No, a lot of healers have regular partners they’ll queue with.

When i was stating the damage difference i was excluding the demon procs, if i had it would have been roughly 340k total dmg since the dh got 2 procs instead it was 200k. which is still a big amount of damage as compared to a rot pressure spec.

Thats the dumbest thing I ever heard. You que in LFG then find people you have synergy with. Doesnt mean you ONLY que with them for ever. I use LFG every day its not an excuse. I’m an LFG healer…
