Mists 12. Comically easy.
Doing fine. People don’t dodge anything, soak AoE…You know the drill.
We make it to last boss.
Lead dies twice to the moving green circles. Used up 2 brezes we had.
Healer dies to the same thing.
Leader calls me a “trashcan tank” for making him die, along with a few other insults.
I leave w/o saying a word. Then he whispers me calling more names…and then he said how dare I am to leave when he is a 226 warrior pulling 7k dps (In aoe I shall add).
This is a revived toon. This is the first week since 9.0~March.
Kinda reminded me why I stopped tanking for pugs.
Toxicity is a common theme both in-game and the forums. Until Blizzard stops promoting this degenerate style both with the features they develop and their toxic decisions, this trend will unfortunately continue or worsen.
I understand that “/ignore” will be account-wide in 9.1.5, so there’s that!
Sorry you had a bad experience, but to be expected in PUGs. Just move on to the next and expect 50% to be bad… if it’s less than that on a particular evening, then bonus!
Tyrannical fights in mists are always amusing. Especially since most players don’t understand how the green circle mechanic works (esp on a longer fight). it’s an individual responsibility issue for sure, not the tank’s.
that really sucks but i probably would have left too, even if that sort of toxicity was directed at another member of the party
Dungeons and Dragons is gone, now it’s all about hopping in and out of circles.
Next Raid: The player who pulls the green lever must type in the gnome national anthem while avoiding the circle of death, miss one letter or wrong circle, whole party wipes.
