Classic players, and others for that matter, are droppin hard “R’s” on people left and right because they want layer swaps, LFR, and flying mounts. Telling me to go back to the R word. Where do we draw the line?

General chat just needs to be removed altogether. No one is using it for it’s correct purpose. Here is the topic I made about the issues. As you can see, the replies prove my point.

You know saying a word in an explanation manner isn’t the same as directing it at someone. But I do agree if it is, it’s a bit ridiculous for others to be calling people that just because they want to swap layers.

Well, then I have 0 idea of the word. Ambiguous is the definition.
You also have /ignore. So you could leave the entire channel, or ignore specific people … or you can continue to be butthurt about it and express unreasonable demands, like removing an entire channel to make you feel more comfortable. Choice is yours, really.
If you are serious, I think he means, ‘retail’. Either way, he was obviously being silly.

No one is using general chat properly so Blizzard should just get rid of it.
All people will do is misuse chat, and anyone that points out any slight problem is met with trolling with statements such as leave chat or use ignore.
People should be following rules, and Blizzard needs to be dealing with all the people who aren’t. Which also never happens
The only thing that will solve 99% of the issues including RCR abuse and topics about what is going on in chat, is just to get rid of general chat altogether and be done with it. Again no one is using it properly anyway so why do people have a problem removing something that’s causing more problems then necessary!

i’m not one to say that in chat but i’m not sure what the issue is here. if you want those things why aren’t you playing the version of the game that has them? kind of blows my mind. i know if that’s what i wanted i wouldn’t be playing classic.
that’s like popping in final fantasy 6 and then wanting to have summons or play the card game. well if that’s what i wanted i’d pop in the lesser final fantasy 7 instead. /mindblown?
