So those frog mounts

333,333g… Did you find it worth it for you?

I mean, at least they’re a new model unlike those terribad 90k recoloured panda griffins coming in 8.2.

I really want one but it would take all my gold. :frowning:

I bought one, but I can’t see myself buying the others until inflation kicks in.

I think they were worth it, they have a satisfying “Fwomp” sound when their belly hits the ground as they run. Plus they look really cool.

I no longer see the point of grinding mounts. I got a zillion creatures now in my bags, I barely use half of them. I only use mounts which fit my chars theme.

Getting some random frog just because it’s “unique animation lol” no longer seems appealing.

I love my fancy frog boy

mounts are mounts

let’s be honest most of the mounts we collect are just a number to us anyways

Yeah there is a certain level of mount saturation. I remember back in vanilla being jealous of the the epic mount I couldn’t affor forever, then the nether drakes in BC. Now there are so many cool mounts that nothing stands out anymore. I just pick the one that matches my transmog or whatever.

Well yes. Mounts are…mounts. But I add all the unique ones to my favourite roster so its nice when I mount up and get one.

IMO buy the color you like the most and go back and buy the other 2 when you have more money to burn.

However there are a lot of mounts coming in 8.2 that require gold

I think its around 1.1mil for all of them.

Oh yea, that’s what I do already. I won’t be buying any of the stupid panda recolours since that’s a waste of money because I already have the OG panda one. As for the Frog, yes i’ll only buy 1. There’s no point in buying the other colours as well. Just gonna pick whichever I like the best.

Honestly I don’t really care about the number of mounts. I don’t even have the majority of the vanilla rep mounts because I haven’t been bothered to grind the rep.

I thought about buying them at first but decided against. They would just sit in the my collection and probably wouldn’t be used much. I can always come back and buy later.

I will by them at some point, but I recently just passed the 300 mark or that achievement, so no need to buy em right now. Closer to the next achievement at 350 will be the time, to get over that hump.

I’ll buy the frogs when they can fly.
I’ve had enough of belly flopping mounts - my random mount key keeps bringing up floppy, ground-scraping dragons in BfA.

I actually agree with the frog mounts being as high price as they are.
Makes them a little more rare.

I don’t like that they’re making all rep mounts cost lots of gold tho. The amount of expensive mounts is getting out of hand.

I’ll probably buy one for my DS Troll that I RP on. A Frog Mount is incredibly fitting for her. OP, I don’t really buy mounts for the collection, I generally only buy mounts I know I’ll use them.

I’ll be buying them. I can never have enough mounts. I have enough to buy two so far… working on saving for my third.

There are so many mounts now I’ve given up trying to collect them all. Same for pets.

Out of the several hundred mounts I own I find I use around 3.

333,333 gold is steep for something I’d likely use once.

I only got the one frog. It’s overpriced of course.

I do like unique mounts and since it’s the only ones in the game I was ok with spending the gold.

The details on the mount look amazing as well.

I don’t RP but when leveling in a swampy area or desert it’s nice to use a mount that would fit into it’s environment.
