So this might be a touchy subject but the Incubus

Just googled it and that one does not seem thematic. (Assuming you mean the mancubus)
The name seems pretty random when assigned to that

An incubus is a demon that tries to seduce women in their dreams to have sex with them.
They probably should be sexy lol

For years all fantasy RPGs have sexualized their characters. I don’t have a problem with that. I dress some of my characters, female and male, like that sometimes. But with a huge spotlight being focused on how Blizzard’s management treated real women in the workplace like their own fantasy playthings, are you really surprised that the art team members choose to dial it back a bit for now?

Any time there’s been marginalisation of a group of people leading to a backlash, the pendulum swings back the other way a bit before things find a new middle ground. Chill out about Alextraza’s belly button. It will probably return when women working at Blizzard feel they can show their own without it bringing a drunken boss into their cubicle. Hopefully that’s soon.

I mean i find em really beefy and sexy lol

** backs away from the crazy person slowly *

Context and I always leave out so much.

I wear “sexy” mogs a lot on Honeypot but my favorite is the mage tower “dress”. It’s sexy but not over revealing, it leaves mystery. think I might change back to it xD

I think what Red said hits the nail on the head.

Ultimately, if a woman wants to dress sexy, do it. I hope she isn’t because she is insecure and wants the attention that comes from it. Over all, I think it’s sexier being more covered up. But, do you. Aye?

Totally disagree but moving on.

Personally, I don’t wear these because they’re just uncomfortable. I prefer a nice pair of Flats, if I’m going to wear something nice. However, if women enjoy the heels, more power to them. I can’t do it.

This is “objectification”?

I have one of these, but I wear leggings and/or tights with it 'cause I don’t want to blind people with my bright white legs.

Or, I’ll wear really long skirts, that are loose and reach my ankles.

I have no reason to wear this 'cause I don’t swim. Maybe, if I want to go into a hot tub, but I barely do that.

OK, I have to wear these 'cause of my medical condition. I find it odd that you think these are “objectifying” women, though

Jeans, literally, physically hurt me.

And, if I don’t have yoga pants/leggings, PJs are next.

And, I enjoy looking at men in their outfits, too.
We’re supposed to be attracted to each other! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

And, no, I’m not just talking about straight attraction. This concerns LGBTQ+ attraction, as well, before somebody gets it twisted

I expected you to disagree with my original claim. i’ve yet to convince anyone else. You didn’t need to go through the list i made off the top of my head but i appreciate the effort. Yeah LGBTQ+ stuff is cool too. I don’t have a problem with any of them.

I wasn’t aware they removed the female succubus.

Oh wait! They didn’t.

Incubus is the male version of the succubus. There’d be merit to this if the female succubus was removed.

She wasn’t.

There is no unfairness. He’s literally the other version of her.

Well, I had to 'cause what you said is steteotyping women down to what they wear, and you assume all women wear such things, but they don’t.

My main shoe wear are something like these.

Luckily back in 1974, I ordered those xray glasses from the back of a comic book.
:face_with_spiral_eyes:

Be careful 'cause insecurity works in a different way, too. I used to be insecure and forced myself to really cover up by wearing oversized shirts, jackets with hoods and wear the hood, to cover my head and baggy pants because I never felt “pretty enough” to be like “the pretty girls”.

I learned how to self love and build up my self-confidence and tell the world “no screw you, I am beautiful!”

To be clear my point was not to stereotype women. Nor to assume all women wear those things. My point was that I believe some common items of US fashion to have been created by men for men’s pleasure and then passed off to women such that they are convinced they are choosing it because they like it. And they do like the items, that’s fine, my point is just that the origins were sinister.

What’s your solution for them to be “less” sinister?

You can’t change the origin of something after it was created. I used “sinister” because I don’t know what words Blizz gives timeouts for… and I kinda find it sinister assuming the men were actually smart enough to pull this off.

Also i have no reason to propose a solution. My motto is “Pugs aren’t people” and i don’t really value people in real life anyway. Y’all are all just objects to me anyway, no reason to change your clothes.

And I do mean all people outside kith and kin by “y’all are all just objects to me”. Not just women.

Woke Posturing is the Corporate Meta currently.

Everyone is hiring “diversity and inclusion” officers as their “token black person” so if they get sued, they can say, “but we have a token black person who’s job it is to make sure this didn’t happen”.

It’s not about caring. It’s about protecting the investment from the cancel culture and social outcry.

Whatever the current Woke Agenda is will correlate directly to the Woke Corporate Meta.

Argument has been brought up every expansion since WotLK when armor stopped being skimpy and people act like this is some recent development. It’s been a trend since 2008 or so. Leave your “woke” conspiracies at home.

So, you just want to complain for the sake of it and win yourself brownie points for agreeing with the parroted phrase “ree objectification of women!!!”

I practice turning negatives into positives. If it makes me look good, I have no complaints. Otherwise, I’d really be leaving nothing to the imagination, if I flat out refused to wear everything you mentioned because they were created for sinister purposes. The hell am I supposed to wear then?

Yea but it pre-dates the current reforms we’re seeing.

…I think you are grossly misunderstanding my point and I don’t know why.

Firstly, I wasn’t complaining about anything. I was pointing out why the OP’s post about incubus versus Sylvanas belly was silly.

Secondly, I don’t want brownie points. I already said I objectify women. And men. What good would be saying “I’m against objectification” after saying “I think all people are objects based solely on how useful you are to me”.

Thirdly, I hope women continue wearing all the things I mentioned. Thats the extra use women have compared to men. I get to look at yall and derive a different sort of pleasure.

Lastly, wear whatever you want. Personal freedom (as long as you don’t hurt anyone else) is very important.

if i was creator of something that had a sexy lead i would do the exact opposite and tell them to go shove it. then again i’m a very nasty person when someone crosses me.
