So they were gonna make harronir playable in TWW

Need a link to this video. And no, not Bellular making stuff up. Blizz actually saying it.

OK, you’re crazy.
They will never introduce a race that is bigger than a Tauren, or one with multiple heads.

you don’t like the new orc trolls? lol same :frowning:

The Orc Trolls are great, they’ve always been buff. The problem is, they’re not giving us those, they’re giving us Darkspear with a green coat of paint.

that was a different interview.

That interview was part of his click bait post that he was theory crafting about.

Sure he could be right but I am not going to bet my house on it.

The “Ogre Size Issue” is a meme that has no bearing in reality. You can, right now, debunk it. Just use the Kovork Kostume toy and pair it with an Elixir of Giant Growth. The result is that you’re a very large Ogre. Tauren are roughly shoulder size to you. You’re also larger than many Azerothian Ogres, such as the ones in Alterac for example. In short, you’re larger than an Ogre would need to be.

And yet even with this unnecessary size, there’s a single door in Orgrimmar that gives you issues, and you’ve got to try to get stuck on it.

Re: “multiple heads” I don’t really see what the issue is. The game can just create 2 helmet models on you instead of one. This isn’t a novel technology, it’s been in the game since vanilla; you wear two shoulders, two gloves and two boots; why would helms be different?

In fact, given the “Transmog Shoulders Seperately” option, even the transmog wouldn’t be limited!

Of course, Amani FIRST.

Haranir have better customization options than night elves.

If you lost shadowmeld you’d genuinely lose a chunk of your player base lol.

When Metzen came back the TWW story was heavily revamped. Moving Haronir content to a later expansion was a consequence of the changes, not the reason for them.

shadowmeld is so good. I hope harranir have improved shadowmeld that lets them move.

Their racials were already revealed. Alpha is always subject to change of course though.

They have increased crit power like taurens/dwarves,
Increased damage done to aberrations and elementals as well as reduced damage taken
an active aoe root ability that heals allies and hurts enemies (will be terrible unless it actually roots)
and a flavorful ability that allows them to travel the root networks similar to iron dwarves

The harranir were supposed to be in TWW but they cancelled the second half of TWW mid-way through. The Rootlands far beneath the surface where they were intended to be added were scrapped, though they might get recycled later. K’aresh was supposed to be in Midnight but they cut corners and recycled tons of content to push it out instead. That’s why it seems so half-assed, because it was. TWW was half of an expansion that got through and half an expansion that was aborted only to be recycled in later patches, kind of like how Siren Isle was just leftovers from BfA.

The War Within that ends on another planet. LOL.

There are so many races that I don’t do anything with. So sure, add on another.

Wake me when I can roll a centaur.

Wait, you really expected Blizzard to release a new race in the last few months of an expansion without purchasing the new expansion? Harronir are being officially added as a rep faction in Midnight, why wouldn’t they make it available in the expansion they’re being officially introduced in?

Except it wouldn’t be free if they released it today. One still needs to pay for the base game itself and the current expansion, not to even mention the monthly sub.

There are plenty of reasons to be irritated from time to time with Blizzard, but this is probably not one of them.

That’s how vulpera/mechagnomes worked.

You would need to purchase TWW to unlock Harronir anyway. All this does is change when they become unlocked since it would still cost money to unlock them.

Here’s the thing you, and a lot of other gamers don’t understand… the wishlist for what goes into a game is huge, and things need to be cut along the way because of the damn accountants in this world saying you must release on day “X”

If it was cut content in TWW, then it never existed in the first place and you really need to move on

Example - We have known hero classes and DH were coming since early beta… but had to wait till TWW for ‘hero’ classes, personally, I was hoping for mortar combat teams under hunters but here we are

TWW was not free, so regardless, the feature would not be free. This doesn’t make sense really.

They should have baseline flight like Dracthyr as per the ones we saw doing the campaign questline that were not druids

You know what they’ll never have? Good lore.
