So the wow cosmology chart and

characters in wow who represent them most. who do you think most represent them? I believe sylvanas represents the the aspect of death now anduin represents light, mafurion represents life aleria represents void. and as for order idk for fel well I think at this time illidan represents it best. also this is of the main characters we interact with most. who do you think represents the different aspects of the elements and the cosmic forces?

I represent the aspect of partying. You wanna go drink a bottle of wine and pass out on an inflatable raft in the pool while some really loud and really crappy club music plays? Maybe play some giant Jenga?

Most of them are pretty well defined.

There’s a pretty good one already out there called ā€˜World of Elfcraft: Cosmology map’ obviously it’s just for elves but easy enough to extrapolate.

  • Myself: Disorder on the side of fel due to being a follower of Illidan. We have Shivarra in our class order hall for heavens sake.

Ones kinda new:

  • Kul Tiran druidism would be leaning towards nature. We do have the Drust practices that add a strong death aspect it to also, it’s a combination of opposites.

  • Blood Trolls would lean between decay and necromancy. I don’t see them in the same negative light as the plot portrays them. (This is where I think Hearthstone really adds to the lore - I played Hi’reek and High Priestess Jek’lik in my warlock deck).

Rest are pretty straightforward: Naga maintain their order and hierarchy from thier days of being highborne but have embraced the void.

Are you though? The Illidari are devoted to destroying the Legion, which represents Disorder.

Correct it’s a case of using their power against them.

Yeah, but are they really representative of disorder if their goal is to end disorder?

Order is the arcane, so Jaina or Khadgar. Khadgar more than likely, considering Jaina’s a bit tempermental.

Fel is probably best represented by Illidan. And he, like the Burning Legion, is currently gone.

I despise Alleria so I’m not letting her have the void. I’d give the void to someone more deserving of it like Cho’gall.

Malfurion makes sense for life, so I’m okay with that.

Sylvanas for death, sure. Either that or Bolvar, but I think Sylvanas takes the cake.

Anduin makes sense for Light. Although I think someone else could take that one too, like Liadrin. Anduin works though.

That’s where you’re incorrect.

Their goal is the end the Burning Legion not disorder.

I am the aspect of sexy kitty who sometimes BEAR it all!

Hearthstone is not cannon, though. And the blood trolls are horrible cannibalistic savages. They don’t have anything redeeming about them.

Sure, however if you’ve done both campaigns you’ll know that largely:

  • Their way of life is pretty simple and atleast understandable. (Alliance campaign).

  • Hi’reek like the Zandalari who became blood trolls was corrupted into becoming a servant of G’huun. As the bat loa he is very important to the trolls. This gives hope that the blood trolls can be redeemed. (Atleast he gets to return to the Emerald Dream). (Horde campaign)

  • Many turned to blood magic because of the circumstances they were in - natives of Zul Arab suffering because the deaths caused by Hakkar. (Horde campaign).

This atleast gives me sympathy for them. Even though I hear ā€˜YOUR BLOOD FOR G’Huun’ everytime I go there.

The ā€˜Void’ is still largely undefined.

A void being is somewhat paradoxical.

Pretty much.

Disorder, Demons, and ā€œthe Felā€ in general all existed before the Legion, independently of it, and would continue to exist even if all the commanders of the Legion were destroyed and/or sealed away and that particular, specific organization imploded.

Chaos is far more fundamental than any singular organization comprised of entities incarnated of it.
