So... the void operates on the principles of nature now?

Talking about the ending cutscene to the raid… I thought the void was more about inevitability and the unknown.

Now its survival of the fittest? I think a writer just stole someone else’s homework. Even in the past the most powerful old god was destroyed because of the threat it posed.

Can we not have different elemental plans and cosmos if they all follow the same principles?

Looking at the chart, one can see a sort of duality within the forces.

Order, Light, and Death are all quite organized forces. Patterns, fundamental laws, etc…

By contrast Chaos, Life, and Void are more unpredictable, shifting. Pretty sure, ‘Survival of the Fittest,’ is also a demon thing, so attributed to Chaos as much as Life.

I guess I just hoped void would be about cunning and manipulation more…guess that is harder to write.

Considering how the Black Empire operated before the Titans found Azeroth: yes.

it still is about cunning and manipulation, “survival of the fittest” in this case means not being manipulated into doing someone else’s bidding. the strongest of the void are the most cunning, though yes, you do have to actually be strong enough to not get straight up killed by someone who failed to manipulate you.

I think there is a fine line between survival of the fittest, and exploitation of the weak.

Xalatath is exploiting peoples weaknesses to overpower them and gain the upper hand. Definitely more twisted approach.

Using pawns with no greater ambition to succeed in her schemes Kinda thing…

The strong survive and the void are the strongest.

That’s clearly the implication she was making.
