So the Undead are really getting Calia

You want to have an ‘evil team’? Fine, not a problem, but in that case, races CANNOT be tied to faction, period.

There is absolutely no reason for a Tauren naturalist to work with a Forsaken blight-engineer. Zero. Ideally, they would be killing each other. So the entirety of the Cenarion Circle has to turn away from Lordaeron, stick their fingers in their ears, and repeatedly scream ‘NOPE NO NATURE-DESTROYING HERE WE’RE ALL GOOD CHIEFS’ despite the plain-as-day evidence before their eyes. How is a Tauren Druid supposed to explain this activity? ‘Uh… W-well, you see… Uh… It’s… What plants crave?’ Such idiocy.

My Tauren/Pandaren/Vulperan hero does not want to be on the same faction as your Forsaken villain.

Thing is nomatter what they do i don’t think they will ever just forgive each other for killing there loved ones like its not a big deal ext they will always sooner or later be in war with each other. Maybe not the scale of BFA but still.

They don’t have to forgive each other, and maybe, after some actual tension is built up, and people have a more solid reason to, things will sprout back up and it will feel genuine the next time.

This last “4th War” felt so underwhelming and stupid because it was clearly shoehorned in and forced.

The problem is being at each others throats, killing each other and having petty squabbles, wasting resources and the like when they are much bigger threats existing in the world, is just ridiculous.

Small skirmishes will happen even during peacetime, bad blood will continue.

But those small pocket fights are alot different than the nonsense that BFA was.

Besides, we’ve been stuck at this for way too long, it’s burned out, the night elves have a reason to be angry, but that anger is most best directed at the one that caused the issue, Sylvanas, not the horde as a whole.

The horde doesn’t really have any major problems with the alliance right now, besides just years of fighting.

Lilian Voss would have been a better choice, would make more sense.

I think its silly how the world is dying but yet we use it in war anyways in BFA LOL!My only real complaint is i see zero stuff i wanted for mogging until 8.3 dropped other then that for me atleast it’s been a fantastic ride!

This is not what happened yes voss met with calia but it was not to bring her into the forsaken all she did was give the fallen night elves that sylvanas raised to her so she could help them setting up for the alliance to have an undead elf allied race.

this makes for boring story telling a good story would be both factions while doing things differently both believe they are in the right

Check this out Sniffed, a conversation between Jaina, Calia and Derek.

This is why I wanted a third faction on both sides; one lead by Sylvanas, the other lead by Tyrande.

All of your points are valid, esp the ones listing who is buddy-buddy with whom.

Third factions would at least be a place where players who don’t agree with the current political policy can group.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Three factions, two war raging, and one trying to bring balance.

But sadly, I doubt that WoW has the playerbase to support 3 factions anymore.

Why should Lilian lead the Forsaken when she actively rejects Thrall’s attempt to get her to lead, doesn’t understand the Forsaken any more than Calia or Derek having only joined them in BfA, and was part of the Scarlet Crusade in life?

She’s not coming back as warchief. That was the point of your loyalist quest. We have a council now. She’ll come back as a raid boss in SL and you get to see her before your coin roll.

“Great leaders do not seek power, they have power thrust upon them.”

Calia isn’t a true Forsaken anyway, she’s lightforged.

Sylvanas had leadership thrust upon her, and she callously used everyone that followed her for the sake of her own goals both in life and in death.

She’s basically volunteering to be a grief counselor, that is all.

This whole Calia thing has me confused. I get a quest from Jaina to fly out to a house out in the middle of no where. They all talk a bit and walk away and leave me standing there.

Next patch I get a quest that Calia wants to talk again. I fly out to the boonies again and they talk a bit and walk off and leave me standing there.

Who is this person wearing the cleanest whiteist dress I have ever seen? Why does she want me to listen in on their conversation and then just walk off?

Calia did not choose to be lightforged. This was something done to her.

I’m with you! Orcs needa krump and smash! Kumbaya is not a proper war cry!

She went from dead for many years to appearing in the legion priest hall, to dead again, to forged, now on horde. Talk about an unbelievable chain of events for one character.

If the Forsaken are accepted by society, then would they still be forsaken? They are both undead. Forsaken is just a name applied to them.

Calia is not an Alliance character any more than Sylvanas is an Alliance character due to her being Ranger-General of the High Elves before her death.

Calia was a neutral character.
