So the new world tree, how does it bless the aspects with Azeroth's power?

So I’m confused.
How does it make the aspects Azeroth’s guardian… That makes no sense.

The tree is a seed born from Elune’s tear, the winter queens magic/ardenweld and infused with the power of all night elf souls, then infused further with power from the Emerald dream during it’s growth. Which Blizzard has pretty much said is not a reflection of Azeroth and is a separate realm/dimension.

It was planted on Azeroth not part of it. Soo again I feel like the writers either were trying to kill 2 birds with one stone. Or trying to do a Marvel style, this is cool (it was not) but don’t think to deep into it or it does not make sense. Aka Turn your brain off it’ll be fine.

Thats not even going into the whole cringe toddler grade dialogue and the slow motion trying to create emotions by giving everyone a Futarama, calculion grade dramatic pause when they deliver their lines.

Pretty sure it was Azeroth herself that blessed the Aspects with her power.

Seems so, so let me rephrase it like this now.

The timing for their aspect powers to return is bad and silly.
The tree entering Azeroth should have been more night elf focused with the aspects getting their powers back shortly afterwards. But they tacted it on with Farraks defeat that it seems like it’s tied in with the world tree entering azeroth which has nothing to do with them being aspects and that whole fight was’nt just the dragons. It was the entire world. This further makes it out of place and context.

So maybe it was’nt the tree but the timing is bad. It’s like announcing a Wedding at a funerial you just took all the attention off the actual event saving the night elves home and wrapping up shadowlands story line to thumb tac on them becomming aspects at the same moment.

This patch seems rushed as all the people that showed up and 90% of the dragonflight felt like they were not needed for the Emerald dream’s defense… I still put it down to bad writing no matter how you swing it.

It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I’m hoping they were just trying to tie up the loose ends and move on to a more Metzen focused style of storytelling in the next three expansions.

Yah but bad writting is like herpies, it always comes back in a bad way.

It was given to them by the Titan Azeroth. The next 3 expansions will focus on the awakening of the Titan Azeroth. I don’t know why you are expecting anything different in the next 3 expansions. Its all going to be focused on the Titan Azeroth.

The way I see it, Azeroth blessed the Aspects, the tree served as a conduit much like a wand or staff would.

The world tree is actually an antennae that made a connection with the robot creator world that finally updated them to Magic Robot OS 6.0: Snow Furbolg

Previously they were on OS 2.2 Sleepy Murloc

And actually Sargeras was trying to infect Azeroth with The Karen virus, but now everyone is fully upgraded and it comes with Aspect Regeneration, Fruit Bowl support for older models, and updated Aspect Friendship compatibility with 47 new color palettes

There’s speculation that Azeroth might not even be a titan. We’ll have to see but hopefully Metzen does a bang up job on it.

Apparently Magni and Illidan refered to Azeroth as a titan in 7.3…so I’m not sure who is speculating

Because when the story tellers tell you

Things are going to happen that may shake up everything, and we just may discover everything we thought we knew was wrong…

People question everything.

The tree is either azeroths giant wart or a fungal infection that is tossing magical disney dust into the hair and gave them back their powers when they snorted it.

The antennae method is highly probable, power being sent through before the connection is interrupted by Iridikron. Azeroth doing so as a last ditch effort for defense perhaps?

Should have been, but it wasn’t. It didn’t even show up on the correct continent. Frankly it seems like the whole thing was a scam to dupe Tyrande into letting the dragons use those night elf souls as a power source. The tree is located in the dragons’ ancestral land rather than the night elves’. Yet we’re all just pretending this is a win for them?

I think orginally she was a titan. But I’m sure they reconned a bunch of stuff when they started to recon the lore like how the chronicle book was stated to be all of wows lore wrapped up in one book. Then they later came out after reconning lore and said no the book is from the titan’s prospective. So at this point we don’t know what she is.

Is she a titan (orginnaly yes, maybe still)
Is she a first one.
Is she something else.
Who know’s at this point
I’m sure blizzard wants to pull the rug from under us at the last second.
