So the new Mt Dew Cycle

Is actually being sold on eBay already. No wonder stuff was selling out. People are getting creative! Geez. I am way too lazy to put something like that together

The sad part is, and I do mean sad, that someone will pay whatever the price is for a ground mount they will hardly ever use.

+1 is +1 even if we will only use it for 5 minutes.

I just looked this up, 54-70 dollars for it, that’s insane to me considering I can just go to the store and buy one 24 pk of mt dew for 16 dollars and get the bike.

Yep. Blows my mind. Not even sure they are allowed to sell the code like it has to violate the ToU or EULA right?

You’d think it has to, but I’m not sure.

Me either… it’s like a super grey area… like the TCG mounts.

All I’ve learned from this is that I’m going to go buy 2x 24 packs and 3x bags of chips for a future party or even that will sit in my house.

Im not even gonna go and buy the soda lol , considering that mounts and being given out left and right now adays, going to the store and spending money for another mount is not worth it

Im going to get it because I want the bike, but I don’t drink that stuff so I’ll just give it to my roommate.

This made me chuckle. “IRL Quest”

"Greetings Champion!

We’ve heard tale of a powerful transportation device which was abandoned long ago. Stories of its adventures are legendary and the members of the Explorer’s League want to take a closer look at it. If you can retrieve it from the BlackBerry Citrus Mountains of Dew, I am sure they will share in the spoils with you!"

Cost: $20 Dollars

Some areas aren’t able to buy the drinks is why. One of my guildies can’t find it in their area so far, followed by if your out of the U.S. then it’s more than likely impossible to get the mount without eBay.

Personally I don’t care enough to go out of my way for it, yet there is a reason behind the scalper market for it.

Doubtful, blizzard only cares about things that are within the game, like boosting or selling gold through RMT. Given it both undercuts them through loss in token sales, and harms the game by inflating the amount of gold generated given the bulk of these sellers are using bots to farm the gold.

For anything IRL like these mounts blizzard already has their cut from the sale. Followed by there is no harm to the game being had by selling them on resale sites. So similar to all the other mounts sold on eBay, I doubt this one will be against the ToS.

Depending on price might be preferable to buying the mountain dew

technically according to blizzard tos they arent.

We can blame Blizzard for that one and whoever else set up the promo.

So…the red one is from mtn dew, green is secrets of Azeroth, and we don’t know where purple will be from yet yeah? I mean from what I can tell I can get the red one easy just gotta buy three 20 oz bottles of the gamer fuel since WoWhead claims those give 200 points a piece and you only need 600… much kinder than being forced to buy 12 packs of cans as I’ve got enough mtn dew in the house as is I couldn’t get away with another 12 pack for a digital item. If only the motorcycles flew… why don’t we got a motorcycle than can fly when we got flying horses and cats and the like?

The real crime is there is no code red or livewire zero

Yeah I’ll buy MTD zero, even if it’s not ideal it lasts at least a year. But it’s been >20 years since I’ve bought any full-sugar soda, all that stuff is disgustingly sweet now.

If it’s too much stocking effort to have regular and sugar-free then make the entire product line sugar-free. The ONLY shelf I ever see at the store totally sold-out empty is Coke Zero. Not diet. Not standard Coke. Consumers have spoken, they want Zero.
