We’ve already been seeing it. I think it happened in the pre-patch.
People complaining that they’re bored was bound to happen. Unless they time gate progression, people rush through and finish everything in a week then complain they’re out of things to do.
but if they time gate us, people complain they time gated us.
The real problem is burning through content as fast as possible. That’s on players.
I’ve been playing for an hour or so on evenings where I have the energy and will and just hit 62 last night, with DR getting maxed out a couple evenings prior. I don’t anticipate running out of things to do before the next major patch.
And regardless of anything I’m happy to not be in Shadowlands any more, because the zones were so dull. The only somewhat passable zones were Ardenweald and Revendreth, the rest were bleh. Even the relative palate cleanser that was ZM had this odd hollowness to it.
I’m enjoying most about dragonflight, Like all the changes, looks like there will be plenty to do .
Dragon riding is a whole different story, can’t stand it, makes me sick, I want to use mounts that i worked for from other expansion, I hate the big ugly dragons.
I think there’s less mandatory content which feels like less to do but really it’s just more freedom. I personally log on and don’t feel the stress of having to do certain stuff to be up to date with the game and everyone. Now I’m just laid back doing content not falling behind.
At first I thought meh what do I do, now I say what do I want to do.
I’m very satisfied. Shadowlands was garbage. Dragon flight I have so much freedom to do whatever I want, fearing gs multiple avenues and are gated by rep or anything mundane like that
