theres still a chance for it in 11.3 but honestly i wouldnt care either way, we dont need another elf race, even if these ones are slightly closer to trolls than night elves

Actually if anything it did everything BUT confirm it. The fact that he mentioned it and that he pointed out that it was a feature on the main trailer, might signify joining later, perhaps for Midnight. As players, we haven’t done anything yet to “earn” their allegiance. That needs to happen first.
Blizzard doesn’t do random when it comes to that kind of stuff. For other things maybe, but they are pretty on point about hinting months ahead to stuff. I would be SHOCKED if it isn’t an allied race, at the latest, to start the Midnight expansion.

Don’t give up hope. Honestly, the way they keep using them as promotional choices and talking points makes me believe they will have a role to play in Midnight too. Perhaps in the entire world soul saga. We still have patch 11.2 and 11.3. They have so many customization options, and are being treated as so important I find it hard to believe they won’t be an allied race.

So they thought that we’d like the stone dwarves better than the cool troll elves that are reminiscent of mid-evolution night elves?? Aren’t dwarves one of the least played races on top of that? They’re smoking something.

If they add a new, race it will either be more dwarves or more elves. They already tried something different with the dracthyr and everyone hated it. Dwarves and elves are safe.
