Anyone else frustrated at how long this takes basically being entirely RNG? I wouldn’t mind if I had to get a certain score, or amount of combos in a certain time, but having to match four of a particular color just means I keep resetting it 'til I get a favorable start.
It’s random in the worst way. Makes me miss the Tortollans, honestly.
I like it. I like the un-cross the lines game too. I was never a fan of mobile games but I have the JC version of this one in my toy collection and play it while waiting in queue some times.
The WQs only required you to get a certain number of a given color, so you only need three. I think there might have been one or two needed for the achievement that a had a match four requirement, but that’s it.
Yeah, only the initial quest to unlock the games had the match 4 or something. Not sure if it’s still that way cuz I unlocked them on my alts with no issue. They don’t need rep or nothing but 2 puzzles take care of half the emissary’s 4 quests.
And if you get stuck, just kill the game and start over. It doesn’t wipe your “score” for the quest.
I love all the Mardivas puzzle World Quests that I have done so far. I wish I could level my bodyguard by doing the puzzles instead of their horrible daily quests.
I just learned it’s only the first attempt you need to match four, so … this thread’s a little pointless.
I like the puzzle games, I even like the tortollan match 2 thing to an extent, just felt a bit salty at having to match 4 when the layout of the board was totally random, lmao
I never played zombies before and that game was sooo much fun - tho confusing. In fact there was a Plants vs. Zombies penny slot machine in the Las Vegas airport that I put in $40 and walked away with $600. Not sure what that game was doing either but I still won.
Funniest memory of my sunflower pet was waiting for some BG to start and a goblin guy walks up to it (same height) and yells in chat, “WAT THE **** IS THIS THING?”…“AND WHERE DO I GET ONE??”
Uh. Stupid question - why not just go with what you get, enjoy the fact it’s not killing 15 bears and taking their butts, and then get it done at your own pace? The bejeweled WQ’s are meant to be a break from the usual tedium. And the starting layout doesn’t mean anything when you can likely get a combo that’ll suffice your requirements a couple of moves in.
I actually enjoy this one and the ley line puzzle. I never played Bejeweled, so it took me a while to work out the rules, but once I did, it’s actually a bit relaxing.
I can get why some would find it frustrating though. Some of the mini games I can’t stand either.
