I miss the arc so much.
Still think we need an update to Class Halls that let us earn and equip glyphs for basically all mainline spells. Give us all this and more but make it a earned reward thing.

The current shadow bolt is a purple blob of poop. The old one looked great.
That’s what I hate about the new versions of the spells. They are so soft, so sparkly, so not warlock like. When you think of warlock spells you think of sharp, crisp, scary spells. You think of the old red seed of corruption.
Except drain soul, that animation needs a new crisp, scary looking animation stat!

Warlock is the forgotten child of blizzard just be happy they at least are making changes to it.

The new one looks better graphically, the skull was lame. The new one just needs to not arc it looks limp.
Um, no. It’s a blob. There is no graphically pleasing aspects to it.

It looks like a bolt of shadow. Fits the icon and name of the spell better than the old one.
Mages get sharp icicles that radiate snowflakes, shadow priests gets a shadowy presence and tendrils, boomys get rays of sunlight, beams of stars and moons, and warlocks get-- giant colorful blobs?

There is NOTHING about the purple blog that resembles a bolt. Nothing. Period. Its a disgusting purple, sparkly blob of poop that resembles nothing of the dark, shadow magic it is supposed to be. In fact, blizz could turn it into a pink, nearly invisible shadow ray and it would be a 1000% positive increase.

There’s a significantly better Shadow Bolt animation used by the ogres in Exile’s Reach that looks like a modern version of the old skull Shadow Bolt.
But Blizzard refuses to put even the slightest bit of effort into their classes ,so Warlocks are probably never gonna get that or the updated Shadowfury from De Other Side. Oh well.

What about a glyph so that ‘shadow bolt’ becomes ‘Doombolt’? Minor, but thematically more fun (personally speaking)
