Where they blew it was showing it was possible for the two sisters to speak to one another directly (in this case through Tyranda). It totally invalidates Elune responding of allowing the tree to burn rather than just saying âHey sis, whatâs the problem? How can I help?â

I think they entered the point where theyâre just going to keep digging until they (hopefully) come out the other side so they can claim that it was a master plan all along or somethingâŠ
TBH the overarching story writing in WoW has been degrading steadily since the middle/end of MoP when they decided to let a book tell a story that has major implications in game and leave almost everything in the book out of said game.

Thatâs what Iâm thinking too⊠if theyâre trying to pass off Sylvanasâ actions as part of Eluneâs master plan or some idiotic shi like that then I say keep going. Just when I think it canât get any more contrived they blow past another barrier.
What about Cata? A book setup the setting, Carines death, and the instability going into the expansion for the Horde. Itâs always the Horde. Itâs a constant problem where the books are never referenced in game
Damm, donât remind me about Bolvar. During Legion it seemed like he was up to a super master plan that was building up slowly and with machiavellic patience. It was scarier than Arthas because he seemed to be way smarter and cold (âYou are empty inside, just like meâ). Oh, and that cool voice.

I donât think they plan out further than the next patch. Maybe who is going to be the final boss of the expansion but definitely not the actual story getting there.
