Are these latest changes going to make it into the build on Tuesday? Any confirmation on that?
They were implemented on beta already so its going to be in prepatch.
The explanation is only 4% (or some other arbitrarily low number) of people play shaman. So why spend resources on 4% of players?
They seem to have spent some time reworking shaman so a bit of focus was applied but it is definitely a side-side project to them. Something they do when they get bored or when lots of people start complaining.
I play shaman for the fantasy, the art, the rotation, the fun with the exception of raiding and M+. because why? other specs do it better. When was the last time you seen an enh shaman or ele shaman in TGP/MDI or race to world first? (that one time when blizz forgot they uber buffed enh in shadowlands doesnât count that was a stat stick fix not a gameplay fix)
I think someone honestly forgot to make auto attacks scale at all in DF and we are doing SL auto attack damage lol.
Stormbringer is banging for sure. I just feel the hero talent is gonna catch a nerf. And for stormbringer, you have to choose single target or aoe to get the most out of your build. That part feels really bad.
It 1000% will, along with arc discharge. Although there is a bug currently with the lightning wolf from rolling thunder which should add some damage back in post-nerf. Again, itâs up to tuning, but stormbringer is still in a much better spot than totemic - which is still a mess.
It would feel bad if you lost literally all aoe or st in choosing the other, but I donât think thatâs the case. As it stands the extra msw from the other choice besides arc discharge is pretty underwhelming given the msw economy is pretty good now
