So we’re expected to believe that Sylvanas successfully pulls off 2 feints in 1 expansion with Teldrassil and Stormwind then we all die and Sylvanas was the hero all along, leading to the next expansion?
Blizz you ok? I just started creative writing 101, maybe I can help
If they’re going to achieve superb writing, they’ll have to ignore that entire leak, which makes this discussion moot to begin with. But yeah, I share your doubts.
There’s literally no justice in what those possible spoilers reveal, were lead around by Her and that self insert OC, and meant to believe that she was the hero the entire time.
If this leak is to be believed, apparently, we’re all incompetent and can barely get our armor on the morning by ourselves without falling over. Meanwhile, Sylvanas is some sort of evil/hero mastermind ninja strategist who can assemble out of thin air after several defeats, massive armies for her to command, and teleport them along with building-sized siege weapons with a blink of her left eye.
I don’t know what’s worse, seeing her redeemed after killing innocent civilians or our characters having to go through another entire expansion with her leading us around like fools again.
Do you not remember all the screaming and crying from the fanboi’s who said they’d quit the game if they had to go against her? Blizzard went out of their way to add a first ever option for players because of that. They’d rather players not scream and throw a temper tantrum again. I don’t blame them. lol
It is ridiculous. I used to like Sylvanas, but come on this is getting ridiculous and pandering to fanbois who you know only want her because what they do late at night with a photo of her. (And the fangirls, if any that are saying she’s a rolemodel for women. Go find a actual heroic person or race to be a hero, not someone that attempted genocided a whole race. Yes, I have seen one or two claim she’s a rolemodel.)
But yep, it seems literally everyone including us needs to die before Sylvanas gets hers, she’s going to end up as a hero, she might step down as warchief and all of it will be swept under the rug.
Sorry, we’re the ones who get 2 cities sacked in 1 expansion by the same person pulling the same strategy twice.
This writing is bad for both factions, we’re all boo boo the fool. But you can’t sit there and tell me as Alliance, we haven’t been completely and totally given the middle finger in terms of our leaders intelligence on dealing with a single insane villain.
Oh no. 2 cities sacked? So even pretending the leak is true.
We have had 3 cities raided now. You have almost caught up!
That is what you get for having every deity on azeroth on the Alliance’s side. Every person of power? Alliance based.
The only way the Horde can exist, is due to the Alliance leaders acting stupid and idiotic. You want the Alliance to be smarter? Ask for more powerful leaders on the Horde to balance the scales.
Currently we have Sylvanas, a few people that can make “ok” dome shields, and some slightly better fighters.
If the Alliance fought “smartly” to their power, this war would be over in about 4 minutes.
You can’t have all the bad writing ONLY help the Alliance. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
The bad writing put all the godlike beings on the Alliance. The only way to balance that out is more bad writing that makes them stupid.
I agree it’s bad for both but more so for the Alliance side because the Alliance is always the reactionary foil. We do nothing but react to events in the Horde storyline. The story is invariably driven by the actions initiated by major figures on the Horde side. To some extent, the game is about the Horde, not about the Alliance.
Yes, the Horde are too often made the villains and too often lose interesting characters. But the Alliance is consistently made to look like incompetent fools in comparison and when an Alliance lore figure starts to act naturally to events or seek justice, we get scolded by figures like Khadgar.
And every expansion starts with another Alliance settlement getting destroyed by invading forces, mana-bombed, burnt to the ground, destroyed by an aspect, flooded, or its inhabitants turned to goo.
3 cities raided? Undercity was bombed by Sylvanas, in the hopes to kill Anduin. Siege of Orgrimmar was about a Horde civil war. None of it was sacking a city or bombing it or burning it down on the Alliances orders.
Horde players are such crybabies the minute Alliance even step foot near their cities in the storyline.
Well the horde treated like drugged zombies. Sylvanas " go my pretties do as I say" horde " yes my queen I have no will of my own so I must do as you ask".
