So Still No Soul Reaper Change?

At this point if you won’t redesign it, can you just delete the talent and replace it with extra damage for all 3 specs when targets are below 35%? (Blood, DS and HS, Frost Oblit and FS, Unholy DC and SS and replace the talent in unholy with something else)

People have been giving feedback on this skill since beta and even before. Yet here we are…

Or I dunno, redesign it?

I would be fine with it if it actually felt like a proper execute. We can only use it in execute range and it takes several seconds to even do anything, so make it do ridiculous damage (at one point didn’t it actually do crazy damage, or am I misremembering that?). Make it explode for some crazy aoe damage. Something, anything. Make each use of it before execute range create a stack, and when execute range is entered it creates some sort of giga-ghoul whose damage scales with the stacks. There’s a million ways to make it more interesting.

In MoP all executes (warlocks, shadow priest, warrior, dks, paladin) did A LOT of damage in execute phase.

After that they either pruned the executes, redesigned them, or gutted the base damage to oblivion.

Ever since WoD it felt like they’ve been afraid to let execute damage be good on it’s own without a bunch of annoying modifiers (juggernaut is not loved by warriors at all). So now we’re stuck with this… thing… that barely does anything worth writing home about.
