Had a 60 dh that I tried it on just to see and yeah, was far worse than the SL pvp gear he had, and that wasn’t even 250 ilvl as it was just some base honor gear from the end of SL.

I mean, for demon hunter it gives you a recolor of the set you start in.

Ok fair if it gives extra xmog but yeah it looks like the ilevel of the stuff is lagging…

I just did the gear update on my DK and got the quest for the heritage quest.

The gear it gives is completely utterly worthless, but hey you can get 100g or so vendoring it all.

I heard that it bricks your char from ever completing any heritage armor requirements. Considering they’re still releasing some for certain races

I can’t say I’ve ever heard of this issue. Like it regards the gear update the same as a character level boost? That’s pretty bad if true. However it should only be an issue for allied races. They are the only ones required to level properly in order to get heritage armor. Upon hitting the required level (whatever it is now) they get a quest where they simply receive their armor. Core races are different though. They can get to the required level by any means, including a boost. They just then have to hit exalted with their home rep. They then get a proper questline to play through in order to unlock their armor.

The main thing is you get 4 new bags and update a couple of pieces of gear.
