So Primal Storms are a lot of fun

I’ll probably have a totally different opinion of them by next week, but it’s nice to have something to mindlessly farm - especially in areas that we’re already mindlessly farming (Obsidian Citadel, Cobalt Assembly, and that Tyr place).

It feels like today really added a lot to the expansion. Cool stuff.

u srs? the buggy prepatch event was better than this crap. cant believe i was excited for this, it has literaly zero substance to it whatsoever. which seems to be a recurring theme this expac

its like blizz sat around a table last minute and said “we need some form of open world progression” and some intern made a currency, slapped it on some rotating mobs, added a couple rares and called it a day

its low effort trash

Yeah, I’ve been having fun with them. They’re not high effort by any means, but it’s just a nice easy addition to the game that gives us something to do for goodies.

Eew, now I see why this team do what they do. For people like you and the other half that are world first addicts.

Are they any different from the pre-patch ones? Haven’t logged in in a few days.

Huh. I went to a location where one was happening and didn’t notice anything different. Scanned a guide and still don’t know what is supposed to happen in them except for collecting some dust for a quest.

Though you might be sarcastic here and I am not picking up on it.

i like them myself. Besides when it goes to blackenhide hollow. Ew that place.

I think it is cool that the mobs gain new abilities as well. It is neat.

It felt bad with all the gray tagging. Pretty non-inclusive if you ask me.

With the change in key frame drop rates, it makes farming for seb/wraith rep a blast

I just popped into one to get the quest done. Nothing interesting but not all that annoying either, I was in and out in just a couple minutes

Having lost the portal boss tag for the 3rd time in 4 kills to a group I have to say I’m not enjoying it. Group tags can bite me.

This is a huge problem with these large scale assault events. I usually just end up leaving instead of trying to find mobs that arent tagged. The rares often die before I can get to them too. It’s not a fun experience.

I attempted my first dragon shrine assault last night. I’ll never try that again after an hour of chaos and nothing achieved.

i think there garbage, i cant solo them which means more crap to be forced to group in which no one is doing, really wasnt expecting the storms to be yet another freaking grind of elites, end game just continues to disappoint me in DF.

There’s no progress bar anymore so you have no idea when the event boss will spawn, which a lot of people are only doing the event to kill them for crafting recipes, only to find out that you can only loot each boss once a day like the rest of the other rares. Odd for something that has such a long rotation on the events.

The pre-patch one was a bit better imo.

I haven’t participated in them yet. I saw a few up last night, but I already had my planned activities for the evening. I’ll try the next one I see, I guess. Is it just a mindless monster-mash like the pre-patch?

I assumed it would be exactly that.

Oh, and don’t forget that with bosses randomly spawning during the storm it can spawn with only 2 minutes left and then despawn in the middle of the fight. lmfao. dogwater.

If everyone was the same, this would be a boring world

You can solo them but yes its an elite grind which is made faster grouping up or jsut tagging . But it is something to do for non instance players for better rewards than in the older expansions

You win the edge lord trophy of the day award!! Congratulations!!
