So premades are... actually a problem

I feel like your goal as a medical professional should be to keep the people you’re helping from getting sick lol

Odd to be an anti-vax nurse/doctor lol

Really odd

Unvaccinated workers were actually safer than vaccinated ones because the unvaccinated were tested before each shift.

That’s an interesting argument — It’s better to not take vaccines!

Well the vaccines that actually prevent what you vaccinate against, I am all for.

You’d think you’d just bite the bullet and get the shot and avoid getting tested 5 times a week shrug

to each their own I guess

Not tested anymore since we weren’t the ones constantly out with covid.

And where are you from?

New England area.

I’ve never met an antivax doctor before

Consider me impressed

Definitely not a doctor. But there are plenty around, they are just censored. Oh well, it’s the time we live in.

I know several nurses who saw COVID on a daily basis, but refused to get the vaccine. I’m fully vaccinated, but I respect everyone’s decision to get vaccinated or to not get vaccinated.

I didn’t want to get the vaccination at first, then I got COVID and fell to the floor paralyzed in front of my children. 4 days unable to stand and have my worried children cuddle up next to me in bed.

Meanwhile my wife also got COVID and got a headache. Life’s weird like that.

Sorry you got it that bad. It is one of those crazy viruses. When I got it it was chills and body aches for one day then a runny nose the next two. Then I was off work for a few more days for the 5 day protocol.

What is your reasoning for not getting vaccinated

Basically for me, I want more long term studies.

Have you taken any vaccines?

I’ve never met an anti-vax person before so this is interesting to me lol

I’m originally from Missouri/Alabama, but ended up moving to Cali when I turned 18
(Vaccine debates weren’t a thing when I was growing up)
29 now

I stay in S.F. with my partner atm. Very liberal here lol

I did used to take the flu shot every year so I wouldn’t be forced to wear a mask while everyone else didn’t have to. That was the line I draw though. Now, all these people are going to have to take a yearly covid and flu shot and I’m free from it. I don’t take medicine, not even advil when I have cramps.

I’ll be honest I rarely get the flu shot

More out of lazyness than anything else lol

Yea I don’t really either. I hate taking medicine when I don’t need to.

Fair enough, thanks for sharing. Everyone should have freedom to do whatever they want

And that’s where I’m at with this vaccine. I hate even calling it that because it’s not a true vaccine like the polio one or MMR, etc… it’s basically a flu shot. Majority of people I work with regret getting it as it is, they only took it because they were told it was the way to end the pandemic… and that was over two years ago. It’s going to be real interesting come the fall this year and now people need two shots over the 1.

I got mine because my partner is asthmatic. I’ll do whatever I can to keep her safe =)

You don’t make wild points on it, I understand your thought process.
