I’ll be brutally honest: I don’t like Dwarves. I think they are ugly. Earthen are the same, just rocky. I can think of at least 50 races I’d prefer to see on that Allied Race slot.
That said, I’m aware that there are people out there who aren’t me. I believe scientists refer to them as “other people”. Perhaps some among them will be satisfied with the Earthen

The customizations look promising but I’ll have to see the racials before I make up my mind.
Although, honestly I would prefer a customization revamp for all races vs. a new one at this point. There is no logical reason that all races don’t have access to the newer customizations.

It’s just a reskin.
Pretty neutral. Will I play one? No. Will others play it? Yeah.
The promo art on Icy Veins shows some really nice hairs and beards for them.
Why oh why did they just stick gems randomly on their bodies?
They should have let the artist who designed the jewelcrafter cat mounts design them. I might even have played one if they could be the cat mount’s brilliant red, green, gold or black, inset with jewels- not with the colored rocks sticking out as they are now.
They have, at the moment, absolutely nothing to entice me even think of switching from an Iron Dwarf over to their grey, clunky looking, stoney faced model.
I predict a rocky future for them.

Probably the most boring choice I could imagine, unless they had gone with like Arathi humans or something.
I’ll make one to see the new character experience on them and then probably never touch it again.

I’ll probably be swapping my shaman to earthen when they become available. I’m not usually a fan of the shorter classes but I think I’ll like this one because they are slightly taller
I am pretty sure they were just picked as a late add on to the expansion for no other reason than to give horde access to the OP dwarf racial.
They looked kind of bad on the powerpoint to be honest

Pointless addition that are ugly and add nothing of substance than to satiate the .5% that will end up playing it.

Kind of rough for the dwarves that they’ve been obsessed with their titan ancestry since Vanilla. Once they finally manage to connect with the earthen, half of them join the enemy team.
That’s gotta sting a little.

I’m not mad that they’re a thing. But I’m not excited by them. They are decidedly less interesting than the dark irons were, because they actually felt like a different version of dwarves - Fiery dwarves! Stony dwarves though? That’s just what regular old fashioned dwarves are. Earthen are stony and slightly taller. That’s just a dwarf using stone form. We’ve seen it for 20 years.
I’ve said it many times over the past few months, but the fact they just gave them hair is really what makes them feel like just another dwarf, rather than a real ancient, titan construct. They should have been like the earthen we’ve seen before, with the cool stone beards.
The beards on the ladies look great though. I wish dark irons had them as an option.

I’ll make one for the heritage set, but I’ll end up deleting it since I don’t have free characters slots. It will probably be a hunter.

I got my dwarf name ready to go. Idk what class its gonna be. I have all the classes and dont really want to delete a character ive had but i hate duplicates
