So picked up aiding the accord - do a time rift

why is there no instructions of any kind where to go and what to do ? I found the time rift but all that is in there is a dead boss.

This is a time event - and it is terrible anyway. Starts on the top of the hour and about 30 minutes before you get a horn on the map.

Easy week because I am skipping the weekly on all my alts.

THANK you. There isn’t even anything about it (yet) on Wowhead. I hate it when Blizz pulls crap like this. Never sure if they just forgot, or are being purposeful jerks.

So do we need to do any intro quests or we can just rock up to a rift and complete it? I am really confused…

once the horn is up on the map - you should be able to find an area with people - and there is an npc that will give you 2 quests. The first just appears to be entering the rift and then going out and turning it in. Then you get another quest where you have to enter the rift again and complete the event.

I ended up seeing the rift right near the end of the event and so the final boss was killed so I didn’t have a clue what was happening. I ended up just leaving the rift and I noticed I could turn in the quest even though I didn’t get credit for the event. Then I got a quest to do the event.

I wish they put a different thing instead of the horn. I thought it was just a centaur hunt.

Don’t panic.

It’s a soup-like event with an extra boss room that opens at the end. It spawns once an hour right next door to the capital.

Once the initial confusion is over, I’m sure you’ll find it no obstacle.

Problem is, that boss does nae respawn and ye have tae tag it. And with so many players, it just dies too quickly.

I did one rift (robots) that was completable despite horrible lag (10-20 seconds at least). Tried a second rift on an alt, got the Lich King, and it was not completable and failed due to the terrible lag. LK put down defile, then there was at least 30 seconds of lag, and the next frame that loaded had the entire platform covered by defile, and the entire 40 man raid dead. I would recommend waiting to see if they can fix the lag, or it’s just not a lot of fun. It’s not just the end boss - the entire event is a painful lag fest.
