This community is unpleasable. They rant and rave about all the features they want and how bad WoW is for not innovating, but when WoW gets cool, highly requested features and new and interesting mechanics, the complaints just shift gears. I feel like this was already known but I still want to shine a light on it for humor’s sake.
No, but because I love the game and want it to be great, I can get excited for the next big thing without having a dark, cynical cloud over my head. What good does it do for either you or the game to be perpetually upset at every single mistake of the past? That sounds very unhealthy.
You can’t please this community. Seriously. They will ALWAYS have something to complain about. This week it’s lack of customization on dragons that aren’t even in pre alpha
And your post is extremely vague, seeing as you list not a single thing in regards to the argument you are trying to make.
A discussion is impossible.
Except that I did, or did you not see the whole body of the paragraph? A discussion is possible but I haven’t the time to teach you reading comprehension.
That is listing nothing.
There is nothing to comprehend.
You made zero points or arguments. Its basically just spam.
What are these cool. highly requested features? Are we supposed to guess what you think they are?
I don’t think it is healthy for people to allow themselves the mindset which states that those who disagree with your feelings is somehow an affront to humanity. If a very large portion of social media is unhappy with the reveal then it shows that blizzard still has work to do to improve the game beyond the current situation which has demonstrated itself to be unacceptable to millions.
Free Feedback is a great thing and should never be discouraged even when it doesn’t agree with your feelings.
There is a lot to like in the new reveal but there are a lot of mistakes as well which demonstrate that blizzard is not as keen to listen to their subscribers as they seem to imply. This is a situation that has pervaded the game for over a decade and look at where we are now.
Op, I like what I seeing but the problem is trading one for another in a favorite people like isn’t a good idea. Flying is flying ,being grounded is another punishment people don’t like.
There is very little I have agreed with on WoW with Blizzard.
After seeing dragonflight flying mechanics. This actually looks really good.
The Dracthyr. This looks really good.
Talents. This looks really good.
All I see are really bad ideas of what people would rather have. At this point I say Blizzard go full steam ahead. Ignore the bad feedback. Go crazy. That is exactly what this game needs
This forum is alot like those inlaws that dissapprove of you marrying their son/daughter and try to make every dinner about how grossly youve messed up everything, only to wonder why you stop listening to them after 10 yrs of it.
I’ve seen it too,it would be better as a side quest to do and not interfere with a person doing quests, when you want to fly with your dragon friends.
More like a dysfunctional family matter that keeps going and going.
I disagree. I think this is how travel should be. I want them to give it a try. Take chances
I can fully understand people not being hyped for Dragonflight given the past two expansions, but to turn around and proceed to bash Blizz about it when we still know little to nothing just both weird and petty.
We are on Azeroth not in sl or in some dimensional story (unless that is) we should be flying.
But we’ve seen real change in the game.
Who would have thought a year ago there would be tier sets available via world content?
A mount building system?
We’ve seen evidence of real change already, but I get being sceptical it will last.
I think we’ve had a turning point tho, and better days are ahead.
We probably have at the very least another year of waiting. Things can be added or changed. People need to be patient and relax. Give them constructive criticism.
I enjoyed unlocking flying in TBC. It was an amazing experience. It is probably the worst flying in any game I’ve ever played. The flying they show looks like it could be great.
I want them to try it. This game needs to take risks. to shake it up. It won’t survive if it doesn’t. This game was great in Vanilla. It has good competition now. There are games that do much of what wow does better.
This is now, tell me , I like taking photo shots of places I visit, would you stop and go off the beaten path for the one good shot or stay on a greyhound bus traveling down a given road trying your hardest to take a shot?
